Aetna International is the first one I’ve seen. This is no doubt the very worse insurance app I have ever experienced. Miles worse than the second worse one. No just the super duper user unfriendly layout, it has bugs! In every single page almost. Find any app developers from any of the above insurance company to redo this app will increase user experience by 100% minimum! Do something! ### 1/5 — An app from 1990? Even as a web wrapper the design and functionality of it is horrendous. I would love to be able to submit from my phone. It worked before and stopped. I deleted and reinstalled the app and still does not work ### 1/5 — Terrible app *2021-01-04* Quite likely the worst app that I use, sadly no choice but to. It is incredibly slow submitting a claim, it is inefficient, it crashes frequently which means re-inputting data when trying to submit a claim. Given how good Aetna International’s insurance is I’m surprised that they let themselves down with such a terrible app. ### 1/5 — Cannot login, Keep saying internet problem *2020-11-26, version 4.4* Happens all the time and we cannot access to the digital card and create lots of troubles. Called hotline multiple times and still problems persist. No option to save a form or open in another app after downloading. Can only email form, and app crashes when you select to email. It’s so incredibly slow when you can actually manage to log into it, and it not user friendly in the slightest. The claim was under consideration for 3 months. Multiple pending were ignored. And then I got a reply that they deny to pay due to their own consideration. No other explanation. Though this type of surgery should be 100% covered according to conditions. The worst service and responsiveness. My company already changed the insurance company. ### 1/5 — Unable to login using mobile app *2024-01-23, version 5.8.0* Everytime I login using mobile application it gives me error message "an error occurred while processing the request. Please try again letter". Doesn’t know what it is for password keepers like 1Password. App crashes every time I try to submit a claim, which is the main purpose of the app. Can't view status of claims from the app. Very disappointing. ### 1/5 — No message center? *2022-11-12, version 4.7* I keep getting notifications as if there’s a message from Aetna but when I tap the notification and the app opens, there’s no message or even a place to see messages. ### 1/5 — Needs a Complete Redesign *2022-09-26* This app is slow and the UI honestly feels like it was made by college students. My phone is in dark mode and some of the buttons are showing up black and very difficult to read. I remembered I had the app downloaded and was able to to use that instead. Sometimes claims can be a little slow to load, but it is nice to not have to call customer service for every little thing and to have everything all in one place. Has had several updates, none resolved this issue. I can only submit claims through a browser based website using a tablet or laptop. But it is missing one major feature!!! You cannot check the status of your claim from this app. You either have to download another app or go to the main website. Doesn't make sense.
