## What is AEX WiFi Manager?

AEX WiFi Manager is a business audio control app designed for use with AEX system devices on a local network.

Use the app to:
• Discover and manage AEX speakers and devices
• Group devices into zones and groups
• Play background music to selected speakers
• Upload and manage local music and message files
• Make live announcements with Quick Talk
• Create and send voice/TTS announcements
• Configure Wi-Fi onboarding for compatible AEX speakers
• Monitor event logs and device health alerts

Important:
• AEX hardware is required for core functionality.
• Some advanced features are subscription-gated in UI.
• AI-assisted text generation is optional and requires your own API key.

• QR scanning now opens the camera first, with photo/file selection inside the scanner.
• Device names now replace IP addresses when available.
• Forwarded messages and files retain the original phone name.
• Added message, file, and call counters with quick navigation.
• General stability and usability improvements.
• Add Device renamed to Add by QR, with updated translations.
• Corrected the Quick Talk “Naming” and “Volume” labels for all supported languages.
• Improved background-operation stability and consistency.

Improved Phone Communication reliability. Microphone access is now requested when opening the screen, preventing Voice Call from failing on first use.
