I’ve had to redownload the app twice just to book a class, which I think is outrageous. It has so many bugs, constantly freezes, the home/ landing page of the app has no purpose. I’m surprised how such a modern gym chain has such a bad app! The AF app is awful, I thought i had downloaded the wrong app accidentally it’s that bad. Booking a class is a mission in itself. I really miss the FF app - it was so quick and easy to book & change classes. It also had useful features like being able to scan a barcode on the app to access the gym. Regularly crashes and had to be reloaded. Makes booking classes so tiresome. Can’t believe the company invests so much in decent gyms and equipment and yet doesn’t spend any money on its app to make it user friendly and in line with what their competitors offer. It looks like high school students’ project, with very simple and minimal functions. The only efficient thing that sync with the gym is the visit records. They probably could do better by: 1. Sync with gym outlets for available classes according outlets in the selected country/state. 2. User interface could be more interactive. 3. Latest news or eligible promotions for members also nice 4. Make each tab well functioning. (-“Coaching” page is not usable, just a plain page. “Workout” page also do not have any significant function. I still can’t believe I left at home. This would be perfect for those going to the gym before work and they forget to take it with them. It has a mix of ages and because it’s small it is very personable and friendly and ALL staff are both incredibly helpful and are always on hand to update personal goals and programmes- I’m a 51 year old and had little to no fitness when I started. I go approx 5 days a week and do both gym and the excellent classes and feel great, not only has it helped my weight but my well being and fitness level. The classes are varied and great fun and as a lady who has little confidence, I love it here - it’s non intimidating, everyone knows your name and staff and members make you feel very welcome. I would totally recommend it and it is worth every penny. It has given me a new lease of life and my mojo back.
