Other affirmation apps limit you to predetermined messages; and many of them are either dopey or irrelevant. This app allows you to create your own; plus you can choose exactly when during the day you want it to pop up. If you want it to repeat during the day, I figured out you can set up the same message again, but for a different time. Great app. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Really bad. Almost unusable *2024-05-27, version 2020.2* Has quite a bad UI making it ugly and hard to use. Plus the affirmations are not shown in a way which is pleasing on the eye, they are like little cards not full screen affirmations. Respect to the creator for adding all the credits of resources they used but honestly this app needs a lot more work and some NICE THEMES. As all current backgrounds are cheesy or hard to read on top of ### 2/5 — Love to have different tones *2013-06-19, version 1.0.2* This app would be great if I could set my own music or tone for my affirmations. It would be great if future updates allowed users to set their own time for reminders. I prefer the notification sound to the way my phone notifies me and it’s much more vibrant and easier to read than an alarm. The only reason I didn’t put 5 stars is because I really want to be able to set an alarm that will go off at random instead of having the same affirmations always come up at the same time every day. ### 4/5 — Almost Perfect *2013-05-29, version 1.0.2* This is just what I have been looking for. A way to stay conscious and help master my thinking. The only issue is not being able to customize categories. For example they have "job" I would prefer "work" or "purpose" Other categories are missing for me as well. Also it would be cool to have tighter control over when affirmations appear as well as having different sounds as Mind adjusts and needs variety to get its attention. Needless to say, I use the app every day and it’s great to help keep focused on what’s truly important.
