## What is AffordIt?

That half-second before you tap "Buy" — "Can I afford it?" AffordIt answers it in seconds.

Most money apps look backward, tracking what you already spent. AffordIt looks forward. Before you commit to a purchase, an installment plan, or a loan, it simulates exactly what that decision does to your money in the months ahead — so you decide with a number, not a guess.

YOUR INSTALLMENTS, PLANNED — NOT JUST LISTED
Add what you're already paying: the phone, the appliance, the car. AffordIt shows the months remaining and the date each one ends. Then the Break-Even chart shows the month your payments finish and your available money steps back up — so before you add one more installment, you can see whether it lands before or after that relief.

SCAN A RECEIPT INSTEAD OF TYPING
Point your camera at a receipt or invoice, or pick one from your photo library. AffordIt reads the merchant, the total and the date for you. You always confirm before anything is saved — nothing is recorded behind your back.

At the end of the month, if what you actually spent differs from what you told us, AffordIt offers to update your profile. It never changes your numbers on its own.

Receipt photos never leave your phone — they are read on-device. When a receipt is hard to read, only the text is sent for processing, and card numbers, ID numbers, phone numbers and e-mail addresses are removed from it first. Neither the image nor the text is kept.
