Coffee Journal is a calm, beautiful place to record your coffee recipes, so you can dial in once and repeat your best cups for good.

Save your beans, the drinks you make, and every brew in between. No account, no clutter, no noise. Just your notes, beautifully organized.

RECORD EVERY BREW
Log the details that actually matter: grind setting, dose in, yield out, water temperature, and brew time. The brew ratio is calculated for you. Add tasting notes and a rating, then jot down what to change next time.

YOUR BEANS, ORGANIZED
Keep a library of every bag — roaster, roast level, origin, price, and a photo of the label. Add tasting notes so you always remember how it tasted, and mark your favorites.

YOUR DRINKS
Espresso, cortado, V60, latte, and anything else you brew. Give each drink a photo and see every recipe you have made with it.

BROWSE IT BOTH WAYS
Start from a bean to see the drinks you have made with it, or start from a drink to see the beans behind it. Your recipes are always one tap away.

DIAL IN, THEN REPEAT
Compare your attempts and tap Repeat to brew your best cup again, exactly the way you made it. Small, deliberate changes - finer grind, a degree cooler, a touch less yield - are easy to track from one brew to the next.

Your beans, arranged as a photo grid that sorts itself from lightest to darkest roast. Snap a close-up of each bean and watch your collection line up by color. Tap any bean to jump straight to its recipes.

This update also makes the whole app faster and smoother:

 • Faster typing — no more lag when entering names, roasters, or origins
 • Smaller, snappier photos — labels load instantly and take far less space
 • Prices, temperatures, and brew times can no longer be lost while typing
 • Quicker logging — save a new bean and jump straight into your first brew, and add a missing drink without leaving the recipe screen
 • More reliable — the app now recovers gracefully instead of crashing if the data store can't open
