I’m not able to fill out the form to file a claim because when I try to scroll in order to view the calendar, the calendar closes. Not to mention other weird UI choices. ### 2/5 — Frustrating Every Time *2026-05-17, version 5.1.7* This app is honestly the worst. So glitchy and slow. Difficult to find and do what you need to do and slow to load. Sometimes won’t even load at all. “Don’t forget to upload a receipt,” they said. I would if the app would load my data. The AF mobile app gives me the access to connect with American Fidelity instantly. I can send messages and upload documents to AF Representatives without hold times or waits . Tap for recent transactions, it asks for password again and then won’t take the new password. Login on laptop with new password, no problem. This has happened over and over. ### 1/5 — I’m assuming most of these reviews are fake. *2026-07-06, version 5.2.0* I’m not quite sure who is actually using this app and rating it 5 stars. The reviews seem to be timed perfectly apart and are vague. AF, maybe add an option to add documentation to a claim before it is rejected so I’m not required to interact with this garbage app multiple times for a single claim. Plus we can head back towards it being functional. ### 1/5 — Very frustrating and glitchy *2026-06-27, version 5.1.7* App is not user friendly. Often when I click “next”, nothing happens. Then I have to re-enter all the information before I find out later that I didn’t need to. If you try to recover your password, you will need to call during business hours and wait on hold. Just a big time sink if you want to get the benefits that you were promised. Please do better. You would think for a company this size, they would program an app that works. ### 1/5 — They had to pay for 4.8 stars *2026-06-08, version 5.1.7* Every time I use this app—actually, every time I THINK about using this app—I wonder why it’s such garbage. Does AmFam not have the cash to develop a functional app of high utility? Whatever the reason, the app and the website are often down for requesting reimbursement; it’s an incredibly slow process when it does work; and you can’t copy and paste into the notes for the reimbursement. Nothing about it is intuitive. Bad AF app. ### 1/5 — Passwords are a nightmare *2026-06-05, version 5.1.7* Every time I get on the app it doesn’t let me sign in with the password that I know is the correct one because I had to change it yesterday for the same reason ### 1/5 — Rarely works *2026-05-17, version 5.1.7* Last two months, can’t submit any claims. It’s even hard to find a contact number. ### 1/5 — App NOT User-Friendly *2026-05-10, version 5.1.7* Whoever created this app clearly does not use it. Trying to complete the information on all of the different fields is not very easy. The IT people should actually try completing one of the reimbursement forms to see how awkward the app jumps around and how difficult it is to enter information. This is probably the worst app that I have on my phone. You would think that a company of this size would invest in having a top-of-the-line app. ### 1/5 — AFmobile *2026-05-10, version 5.1.7* The worst app ever. Constantly crashes, hardly ever works. ### 1/5 — Low quality garbage *2026-04-28, version 5.1.6* I haven’t used this app in a couple months so I am unsure when the changes were made but the quality has definitely decreased and it has become more difficult to use. You need to just open it and you can see the slide bar on the bottom of the screen doesn’t match with icons which should be a simple correction but apparently isn’t worth their time. Also, making it easier to submit documents prior to being notified they are needed or rejecting a claim would be helpful as apparently you can’t add one prior to this This was the available in previous versions of the app and don’t know why it would have been taken out. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Pregnancy claim *2026-05-05, version 5.1.7* This is my second time to file a claim for pregnancy.
