What do Service Members in the UK to do? The old AFN included the UK. In addition, there is not a TV guide. The AFN app is pretty much useless. ### 2/5 — Lacking proper support/information *2022-05-21* Created a new app for a new look and a one stop information center, great. However, you forgot to include an AFN TV SCHEDULE! How did an old app have necessary information that the new one doesn’t. I also don’t see a tv schedule anywhere. I like the idea of creating a more modern and user friendly app, but there is nothing friendly about it this far. Please fix this so I can update my star rating in the future! This app could be great for local radio and news for our families away from home! ### 1/5 — Unreliable Play *2022-04-05, version 1.01* I was excited to move off of AFN 360/Europe because the iOS version lagged in functionality and features compared to the Android iteration. I had high hopes for this new approach, with a friendlier UI. My issue is the unreliable playback. I think it’s played audible audio twice, versus the ten or so times I’ve opened AFN go to listen to my local radio on the go. I also notice when the app is open and “playing,” iOS doesn’t recognize it in the system audio controls, for times when I want to control the app from the Lock Screen. My hope is this app will get the attention and love it needs to be a go-to app for users who want to keep in touch with their community away from home. ### 2/5 — Where is AFN TV Guide? *2022-03-31* The TV Guide was the only real useful part of the old app. Is it being added to this new one??? ### 2/5 — Music Player Needs Work *2022-03-27* Please update the app so music can be played if I leave the app or put my screen to sleep. It no longer lists gas prices, and the exchange rate link just redirects to an external site. Most frustratingly, the radio stream constantly displays a regional restriction error despite being in an authorized area. I followed the official instructions to email support with my details but never received a response. Two separate apps to confuse everyone. I’m able to use the Now app without problem but the Go app keeps telling me I’m “Out of region”.
