## What is Afri Market Square?

Afri Market Square is a marketplace and community for the African, African American and Caribbean diaspora. It brings the warmth of a busy market square to your phone: the caterer who cooks like home, the barber, the seamstress, the hair braider, the handyman, the church vendor and the shop that stocks the groceries you grew up with, all in one place.

Find businesses near you, or anywhere
Choose your city and browse shops by category, by what you need, or by name. Stay close to home or look in other cities and countries. Each shop page shows its items, photos, videos and reviews from real customers, so you can decide who to trust.

Buy, book or ask for a quote
Add items to your basket and pay on a secure payment page run by regulated payment providers. Choose delivery or collection and follow your orders in one place. Book appointments, buy event tickets, or send a quote request when a job needs a price first. Afri Market Square never sees or stores your card number.

Plan the big occasions
Weddings, funerals and send-offs, naming ceremonies, graduations, baby showers, birthdays, anniversaries and more each have their own planner, with a checklist and the kinds of vendors you will need.

Watch, post and share
Scroll a feed of posts, photos and short videos from shops and members. AMT, the video hub, lets you see a product in action and buy it from the same screen. Follow the shops you like, comment, react and save posts for later.

Talk to each other
Message shops and other members directly. Join communities and discussions, and use the Looking for board to tell local vendors what you need.

Sell on Afri Market Square
Open your shop in a few minutes. Add products and services with photos and video, price them in your own currency, take orders and receive payouts to your bank account through our payment partners. Business tools show your orders and how your shop is doing.

A safe, fair square
Any post, comment, listing, review, message, shop or person can be reported, and any member can be blocked. Reports are reviewed within 24 hours and content that breaks the rules is removed. Photos are screened automatically, and a strict non-discrimination policy applies to everyone.
