Africa Memory Map™ brings the richness of African heritage to life in an interactive, tablet-friendly museum experience designed for Teaching Africa Day.

HOW IT WORKS
Point your tablet at the printed Africa Memory Map™ and watch the continent come alive. Using augmented reality image-tracking, the map unlocks 12 immersive hotspots — each a gateway into the history, art, and spirit of a civilization.

EXPLORE 12 LANDMARKS
Journey from the pyramids of Kush and the rock churches of Lalibela to the courts of Timbuktu, Great Zimbabwe, the Benin Kingdom, the Ashanti Golden Stool, and the Bamoun Palace of Foumban. Each hotspot offers curated stories, narration, and short documentary films.

WATCH & LISTEN
Tap any film icon on the map to play a short heritage video with optional bilingual subtitles (English / French / Off). Replay a film or return to the map at any time.

EARN YOUR EXPLORER PASSPORT
Answer knowledge challenges at each hotspot to collect digital stamps. Track the regions you've visited and complete your explorer passport before finishing the journey.
