I am an Afrikaans speaker and after 5 minutes of downloading this app, I have already seen two mistakes. Bowl and bird are both incorrect. 
Bowl in the context of the picture would be ‘bak’ or ‘bakkie’ and bird would be ‘voël’.
Disappointed.

I got this app to teach my 5 year old Afrikaans. I took a look at the first few flash cards and there are many words spelled wrong. Do not use this app if you want to be competent in Afrikaans.
