### 3/5 — Comme ci comme ça

*2017-03-02, version 1.0.5*

This is a nice addition to my emoji library but there are several issues. The recently used library is constantly deleted, there is no way to search for a particular emoji and because I wanted to support the developers but I keep having to restore the purchase and this time around it's not restoring. Kind of frustrating. But otherwise, the app has potential.

### 2/5 — Be More Transparent with your Pricing Strategy

*2016-05-02*

I paid £1.49 on 17 April to unlock the emojis and now on 2 May I'm being asked to pay again and all my recently used emojis have disappeared . State upfront that people will be required to pay every 2 weeks if they want to keep using this .

### 2/5 — disappointed

*2016-03-02*

I paid the $1.99 to unlock all emojis and fews days later I am asked to pay another $1.99. Not a good strategy to generate revenue. Be transparent, Be great!

### 2/5 — Small wahala dey

*2016-02-15, version 1.0.5*

I can't even use it to write this review

### 3/5 — Nice App but.....

*2016-02-11*

I have the fully paid app. While it sounds fun in principle, I cannot seem to copy anything to paste into a non-supported app like Whatsapp. Why is the copy function so haphazard? Please include some instructions

### 3/5 — Great Start

*2016-02-10, version 1.0.5*

I really cherish the ideas that are coming from Nigeria. I know that this is just the beginning, but the size of the emoji needs to be review. Also, it needs diversity not just Nigeria. You do not have to express a Liberian culture in your application, but something that we all share in common. In addition, I do think emojis are used by the users to become creative not the developers. For instance, the captions that each emoji expressed should have been done by the users not the developer. It is hard because you do not have the data to know what your customers need. Keep on the hard work. Great job.

### 3/5 — Nice but...

*2016-02-06, version 1.0.5*

Make them smaller and diversify to other African countries. We don't all use West African (or rather Nigerian) expressions. But it's a good start.

### 3/5 — Like it but

*2016-02-05, version 1.0.5*

The emojis are really cool. But I wish it was more intuitive to use like other emojis. It will be great if the emojis were small Cas over time it becomes annoying to use esp in Whatsapp where it takes so much space. Diversify to other African countries

### 3/5 — Incorporate them as emojis into messaging

*2016-01-20, version 1.0*

I don't like the fact that i cannot jus go to my emojis while i chat or type a message and use it, you have to exit the message or chat and use emoji to jus send a single message

### 3/5 — Options menu needed

*2016-01-15, version 1.0*

Love the emoji's however the background music should be removed or an option added to disable the music.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Poor Interaction and Graphic Designs

*2022-11-09, version 1.7*

Too stiff and and too difficult to use. Not user friendly. Not interactive. The picture needs to be more realistic—more modern. Looks like a small child drew them. Update the graphics. Make this program far more desirable and user friendly.

### 1/5 — Already paid for app

*2019-05-24*

I already paid for this app when I first downloaded it and now you want me to pay again after updating it
Not cool guys

### 1/5 — Rip off. Don’t waste your time or money.

*2018-11-28*

Cut and paste the emojis from google or someone else who has the app. Or indeed your old messages. No one should have to repay for an app they already paid for, especially when NOTHING NEW IS ADDED. Pointless.

### 1/5 — Not worth the bucks

*2018-04-28, version 1.2*

It’s not enough variety, not to mention they want a dollar per expression. It’s just too expensive most emojis are free.

### 1/5 — Umm

*2017-12-31, version 1.2*

It's all old people and you have to pay for them Issa no 4 me

### 1/5 — Very disappointed

*2017-08-06*

I paid few months ago and now am being ask to pay again. Anything African is not straight forward. Kmt 🙄

### 1/5 — Useless fraudulent App

*2016-09-17*

Paid £1.49 to unlock the Emojis yesterday 16/09/2016 and this morning by 7:09am 17/09/2016, it is asking me to pay ANOTHER £1.49 to unlock. Most useless app ever. Fraudulent!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

### 1/5 — Locked again

*2016-05-11*

I paid and used it for a few months and it is now locked.

### 1/5 — Disappointed

*2016-02-15*

No instructions. Didn't see the emoticons added to my existing emojis and emoticons on my ichats and whatsapp. Assumed I could just copy and paste the emoticons into my chats but the copy function doesn't seem to work so I ended up with an app I couldn't use taking up space on my phone. Now deleted! What a shame. With a little better planning could have been a great app!

### 1/5 — Great idea but not user friendly

*2016-02-05, version 1.0.5*

This app cannot be added to the keyboard, so you can't insert emoji's while texting. You can only send them directly from the app. The emoji's are also VERY large. Please reduce the emoji size and make the option available to add this as a keyboard.

### 5/5 — Really cool and easy to use

*2016-02-12*

Very cool app. I like the way you can integrate it into others apps like WhatsApp, texts, emails etc. I've been having fun with it. Great to see African culture depicted in the world of technology.

### 5/5 — So far so good

*2016-02-05, version 1.0.5*

Just got it . I like how Nigerian they are . Looking forward to using it . I just wish it can be easily accessed like the other emojis but you can't have it all . For now I am content with it

### 4/5 — Great Naija Emoji App, reflects out boisterous culture

*2016-02-12, version 1.0.5*

Great Naija Emoji App, reflects out boisterous culture. I've already shared it with my friends and 👪. My advice - Next step, include gifs and videos with sounds. Sky is the 👉. Add other West African cultures too and Swahili. Fantastic 💡

### 4/5 — Brilliant!!

*2016-02-06*

Love this app it's so cool. good to see different cultures represented in apps

### 4/5 — Cooool!

*2016-02-03, version 1.0.5*

It will be great once it's a bit more diversified for other African nationalities as well 😁

### 4/5 — Like this a lot but....

*2016-02-03, version 1.0.5*

I really like this app. It's refreshing to see but I'd like if the emojis were smaller.

### 3/5 — Purchase restore???

*2017-12-13, version 1.2*

I like using this app but I don’t understand why it keeps making me restore my purchase to use the images past the first 6. What’s wrong with this thing?
