Bummer😵‍💫 ### 4/5 — For the most part really decent, just some slight pet peeves *2022-04-13* The app is really versatile a good 80% of the time and a lot of beats are easily achievable. One thing I noticed however, is the clear lack of cymbals and hi hats from the sound selection. Sometimes I want to make a cumbia song that requires there be an open high hat to be played in the off beat, but since theres no sound for that theres no way to recreate the sound. I know there’s a latin drummer option in the jazz/other drum apps but it makes no sense that you couldn’t just play this alongside the unique instruments found here instead of having to mix and match every time. Not to mention that the brazilian drum app has a drum kit itself Aside from this, and from some glitches where the song just doesn’t save properly and whole sections are left wiped with no way of fixing it etc. this app does its job pretty well, pretty good stuff. ### 3/5 — つかえました *2022-02-05* まあまあでした。 ### 4/5 — Not as complete as other Lumbeat products *2021-05-16* Everything is great, but I am disappointed that midi control for live pad control is grayed out and does not work like other Lumbeat apps. However since iOS 8 NONE OF THEM WORK. It isn’t the only drum app to have been affected, and as a teacher who has enjoyed using them because of their quality sounds, rhythmic possibilities and easy interface I’m now pretty miserable as are the many students I recommended the apps to. PLEASE GET THE COMPATIBILITY SORTED, OTHERWISE THE FIVE STARS I’D LIKE TO GIVE WILL REMAIN ONE. Updated review: I'd love to say the issues are resolved. Unfortunately two years after giving one star I'm tempted to say zero if I could. Paid good money for all your percussion apps Mr Luis Martinez, I wish they worked. This app crashes when I try to save anything. I'm using an IPad Pro 12". The app looks great, sounds great, but is not programmable so it might as well be just recordings of grooves. ### 1/5 — Useless *2016-03-20, version 2.00* This would be a 5 star review if they fixed the glitch. If I have the app running and a phone call comes in the app goes silent as it should. However, after the call ends the sound will not come back on no matter how many times I punch the button. The only way that I can get it to come back on again is to reboot the phone. This is unacceptable. I've spent many hours trying to contact them about this with no success. This would be a fabulous app if they fixed this glitch and communicated with their customers. As it stands, this app is useless and I've wasted $9.99 and many hours in frustration. Soft Drummer and Jazz Drummer. Those have a very naturalistic sounding drum set and works well in performance. This one, the AfroLatin, however, sounds clumpy and harsh. The congas are way to heavy as are the other batteries of drums. The samples are hard and lack the natural dynamics of the other apps they make or of other makers apps.
