### 5/5 — Finally

Great new title after the much loved Plague

### 5/5 — Fun

*2026-09-06, version 1.20.3*

Fun so far

### 4/5 — Good challenge

*2026-09-06, version 1.20.3*

Definitely my favourite of the ‘survival’ type games, its challenging but fair and it doesnt throw ads and pops ups every 2 seconds. Enjoyed plague and enjoying this too!

### 5/5 — Fun challenge

*2026-09-06, version 1.20.3*

I usually play on casual, but it’s fun even on harder difficulties.

### 5/5 — Exceptional

*2026-09-05, version 1.20.3*

The new update makes an excellent game even better!

### 5/5 — Great follow up

*2026-09-05, version 1.20.3*

I liked plague Inc a lot, and this is the perfect sequel. Nice to have a game that’s well thought out and not riddled with coins, gems or ads for power upgrades lol. Just a good game

### 5/5 — Five thumbs up

*2026-09-05, version 1.20.3*

After years of causing world destruction, now I get to work on rebuilding what I’ve done.

### 5/5 — Another Hit

*2026-09-05, version 1.20.3*

All of James’ games are fun and creative and desperately needed in this age of micro transaction riddled slop and ads that straight up lie to. Thank you James!

### 5/5 — Super Fun

*2026-09-05, version 1.20.3*

After playing it a few days it’s actually really fun and not to fast or slow paced

### 4/5 — Fun

*2026-09-04, version 1.20.3*

Really enjoying it and addicting

### 4/5 — Max Potential

*2026-09-04, version 1.20.3*

Would be nice if I could continue/max out an area before I am forced to move on

### 5/5 — Another Ndemic Classic

*2026-09-03, version 1.20.3*

It’s great. Worth every cent. I bought all the dlc so far and plan to buy the rest when it releases. Every they they’ve updated this it gets more replayable. I’m firing it up everyday now

### 5/5 — Fun game, not as great as plague inc though!

*2026-09-03, version 1.20.3*

Good game, fun and strategic but tricky

### 5/5 — Good game

*2026-09-03, version 1.20.3*

Roll your mind to explore

### 5/5 — Better than expected

*2026-09-03, version 1.20.2*

Found this game randomly and was really surprised. Good find.

### 4/5 — Addictive, but repetitive

*2026-09-03, version 1.20.2*

Scenarios generally start the same and are short.
There is fun and benefit in replaying scenarios on harder difficulty.

Update: I’ve had fun trying to 5-star each level on brutal difficulty with escape hatch. So much so that I decided to support the developer by buying the full game. Major discount atm if it is actually on sale and not always this reasonable price.

### 5/5 — Outside The Box Survival

*2026-09-02, version 1.20.2*

Makes you think about your choices and find a path through. Fun use of time

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2026-09-05, version 1.20.3*

Minimal effort. No ‘game’ to be played. Probably AI designed.

### 1/5 — Need to optimize performance

*2026-09-02, version 1.20.2*

My phone gets hot after 5 mins playing this game

### 1/5 — Procedurally generated

*2026-09-01, version 1.20.2*

The daily procedurally generated scenarios need tempered. Too often the generator creates highly illogical courses of action and create impossible goals to achieve. I play games for relaxation and fun - not to build more MMO frustration after a workday of frustration.

Make some rules! Use AI!

I originally gave this five starts, but it became apparent this was turned over to procedurally generated scenarios with no checks or balances, I lost interest.

### 1/5 — Paid three dollars and all I got was a half dollar game

*2026-08-31, version 1.20.2*

Great campaign for introducing the controls and what to expect but for crying out loud, I paid my good hard earned money just for this to be “paid to play” with DLC Add-ons.
I’d rather spend a little bit more money and get the whole thing without the let down of “oh I found a really great done game, can’t wait to see what’s next” THEN BOOM RIGHT IN YOUR FACE A PAYWALL TO CONTINUE THE GAME.

### 1/5 — Feels Like A Scam

*2026-08-15, version 1.21.1*

So you pay for the game initially then if you want to literally make any progression what so ever you have to keep paying and I mean ANY progression. This really is the worst kind of scammy false advertising.

### 1/5 — doesnt bring anything new

*2026-08-14*

zombies are dumb. mechanics are dumb. moral doesnt make any sense. dont waste your money

### 1/5 — Bait-and-Switch

*2026-08-14, version 1.21.1*

You pay to get the base game, but what you receive is a hollowed out shell. There are about 8 levels, which I finished in two days. No free play, no exploration mode. Once you’ve beat those levels you hit a pay wall. You can either dish out $15 to unlock the rest of the game or you’re confined to replaying the levels you just beat. Very disappointing. Plague Inc. is known for its viral replay-ability. Plague Inc. this game is not.

### 1/5 — The purchase price is just for the intro, not the full game.

*2026-08-13, version 1.21.1*

I bought the game for $2.99, played the first few levels/survival mode in a few hours, was really enjoying it! So it was disappointing to realise that all the other gameplay areas and levels require DLC packs to play. I thought okay, I can fork out another $2.99 for each part, that’s reasonable right? A lot of work must go into making this game. But, the other level packs cost between 10 and 20 bucks :/ I wouldn’t have paid for this game if I knew I was only paying for an extended tutorial.

### 1/5 — Ubisoft 2

*2026-07-24, version 1.21.1*

You literally get 6 campaign missions and then have to buy 3 dlcs raging from $7 to $15- so yeah- not recommended at all, I would rather pay $15 - $20 for the WHOLE game upfront than this

### 1/5 — Sad

*2026-07-24, version 1.21.1*

Very shallow and braindead and wants you to pay $15 more to unlock everything. No thanks.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Отличная игра

*2026-09-09, version 1.20.3*

Радует, что есть русский язык, хоть и немного с корявым переводом, но на игру это не влияет. Тот же вайб, что и у plague inc ❤️

### 5/5 — Love this!

*2026-09-09, version 1.20.3*

Great game. I thought I could play and pause at my convenience but ended up getting hooked to it.

### 5/5 — Just a fun game

*2026-09-09, version 1.20.3*

If you liked Plague Inc, this is just as good but more objective focused. Reminds me of something like Warcraft, minus the RTS elements that’s been optimized for mobile.

### 5/5 — Daily Dose of Challenge

*2026-09-08, version 1.20.3*

I never leave reviews but the most recent campaign makes this worthy of 5 stars. The game's really gotten innovatively challenging with time and I look forward to the daily and seeing how other people handled it. The content just keeps coming and I'm not being nickle and dimed each time. Really refreshing!

### 5/5 — Fun and entertaining

*2026-09-08, version 1.20.3*

Great game it’s for fun and entertaining things to do. I really like it and hope it keeps growing.

### 5/5 — Not a reviewer but...

*2026-09-08, version 1.20.3*

This game is great! It doesn't have every complicated intricacy that a complete city builder might have and it's not like every other mobile city builder. I'm hooked and excited to see how it grows. As someone who doesn't review or spend money on apps, it's worth the $2 expense.

### 5/5 — Really Fun!

*2026-09-08, version 1.20.3*

Pretty good game so far!

### 5/5 — Love this game

*2026-09-07, version 1.20.3*

Played plague inc for years so I was very intrigued when I saw this. It’s brilliant, peaceful (or scary) and addictive. Been playing for days

### 5/5 — Worth it

*2026-09-07, version 1.20.3*

This is actually the first game I have spent money on. The way the settlement grows and the issues that pop it. It’s a good strategy game while waiting for the kids to finish their swimming lesson

### 5/5 — Love it

*2026-09-07, version 1.20.3*

Fun and smart game!
