## What is After5?

After5 is a social network that helps you discover and create plans through your friends' networks.

Every day at 5 PM, you'll get a notification to set your Mood and unlock the app. Once inside, you can see what your friends are down for, create plans, receive invites, and discover plans through friends of friends.

Plans are temporary group chats built around real-life experiences. Whether you're grabbing dinner, heading to an event, exploring the city, or meeting up after work, every plan includes a chat, time, date, and location, then automatically deletes the day after it ends.

Plans can be:

• Open – Nearby friends of people going can discover and join the plan, with or without bringing more friends.
• Close Friends – Only close friends of current plan members can discover and join.
• Invite Only – Only invited members can join.

As new people join an Open Plan, their nearby friends can discover it too, allowing plans to grow organically through trusted social connections.

Unlike traditional social media, After5 is designed to help you make plans—not consume content. There are no endless feeds, no content rabbit holes, and no pressure to stay online.

The goal is simple: spend less time scrolling and more time with friends.
