No more trawling Facebook groups, Messenger threads or subreddits to find a game. No more generic meetup apps to organise a regular game night with friends or one-shot with new folks, figuring out who’s interested, who’s actually coming, or getting a last-minute message out to everyone on the day. This app has everything I need in one platform to find a game to play or find a crew to play with and know they’ll turn up! The developers are gamers themselves, and are clearly interested in making the app to solve their users needs. New features and bug fixes (often the result of an incredibly transparent feedback system) are planned, tested released regularly. If you’re a player, this is all totally free. If you’re an admin/group organiser it’s also free, with the option to get even more features (like recurring events) for a remarkably low annual subscription (about A$35 when I last checked) with Aftergame+ All while feeling the good vibes of supporting indie developers who understand who they’re building their app for. It’s interesting to see what gets played, how often, etc. and I like that if someone else is on Aftergame, only one of us has to log the game plays and it’s shared. ### 1/5 — Barely Functional *2025-10-13, version 2.10.119* App takes 10 attempts just to load and even when it does it doesn’t work.
