Afterword turns what you say into a private, well-written journal you'll actually want to reread. Speak your mind for a minute — the AI listens, transcribes, and writes it up as a clean, faithful entry in your own words. No blank page, no typing on a tiny keyboard, no friction between a thought and a memory you keep.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Tap record and talk — about your day, an idea, a worry, a win.
2. Afterword transcribes your voice and writes a polished entry from it.
3. Read it back, tweak anything, add photos. Done.

Prefer to write? You can type entries too, or use quick, private on-device transcription.

CHAT WITH YOUR JOURNAL
Ask your journal questions — "When did I last see Anna?" "How was I feeling about work in March?" — and get answers drawn from your own entries. Search works on meaning, not just keywords.

WEEKLY REFLECTIONS
Once a week, Afterword steps back and reflects with you: a narrative summary of your week, patterns and insights, notable quotes from your entries, and gentle, practical suggestions.

Afterword is free to download and comes with starter credits so you can try everything — voice entries, chat, and weekly summaries. Keep journaling with an optional Plus or Pro subscription (a monthly credit allowance, with monthly or annual billing), and subscribers can top up with non-expiring credit packs.

Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled in your App Store account settings at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
