## What is Agama?

LOG YOUR SIGHTINGS
Record reptile and amphibian observations, add photos and notes, and watch your life list grow.

COMPLETE CHECKLISTS
Explore reptile and amphibian checklists for countries around the world and US states. See at a glance what you have already found and which species are still missing.

CREATE YOUR OWN LISTS
Build custom checklists for the species, genera, regions or personal goals you want to chase, and track them alongside your life list.

EXPLORE NEARBY SPECIES
Discover species known from the area and when they are typically observed, helping you decide what to look for next.

ORGANIZE YOUR TRIPS
Group sightings into trips, revisit past adventures and keep your field history together in one place.

TRACK YOUR HERPING JOURNEY
Follow your progress across species, families, countries and regions, and unlock achievements as your list grows.

HERP WITH FRIENDS
Follow other herpers, compare life lists, tag friends in shared observations and share your discoveries.

YOUR LOCATIONS STAY PRIVATE
Agama is designed with location privacy in mind. Exact observation coordinates are not stored or shared, and location metadata is removed from uploaded photos.

Whether you are checking off your local fauna, planning your next trip or building a life list across continents, Agama gives you one place to keep your sightings, checklists, trips and memories together.

Agama is free to get started, with an optional Supporter subscription for additional features and expanded limits.
