### 4/5 — Background change helps me stay on track and keeps me focused on family and health

*2024-12-26*

This app is nice…it connects to the CVS Bluetooth glucose meter…the super small one, it doesn’t have a lot of features other digital log apps have like Apple health integration or A1C calculation, but the real jewel of this app is the ability to add pictures from your picture gallery…wish they would add the ability to allow random 20 pics…these are of my friends and family don’t makes me feel like taking care of myself everytime

### 3/5 — Email issues

*2024-12-06, version 2.17.0*

Not able to send a report via email the send button is greyed out. Other than that it works like it should.

### 2/5 — Unable to delete bad test results.

*2024-10-28, version 2.17.0*

This fault in program makes the app worthless the leas to me.

### 2/5 — Device is cheap/so is the app

*2023-10-28, version 2.16.3*

The device keeps unpairing with phone, have to remove batteries and reset the device in order to sync info.

While the device seems to be accurate and the supplies are inexpensive the app is terrible. If you are looking for something easy don’t choose this device.

### 4/5 — Data review

*2022-10-01, version 2.16.1*

I like the fact that you can set target ranges. I am a T2D and my ranges are: pre meal:
80-130, post meal: <180. There is no way to enter multiple ranges. So, how can the app accurately reflect your goal for multiple target ranges? It cannot. This needs to be fixed/added.
Otherwise, I find the app very useful, easy to use and Great. Thank you for this app.
I greatly appreciate this app. Keep up the good work for diabetics everywhere.

### 3/5 — No longer syncs with my meter.

*2022-09-24, version 2.16.1*

When my CVS meter made by Agamatrix died, I bought a new one directly from the company. It synced with my phone via Bluetooth for a while, but now it no longer does, and I can't figure out whether it's the app or the meter. I can still input my numbers manually, but it's a pain.

### 2/5 — Deleting Entry

*2021-10-11, version 2.16.0*

Can’t delete Bluetooth entry . So if I share the device with someone, later on I can’t delete that reading . Customer should have the capacity of deleting any entry, manual or Bluetooth.

### 2/5 — Lost data

*2021-08-30, version 2.15.1*

I am missing the data from June and July.

### 3/5 — No Delete Function for Bluetooth Entered Readings

*2021-06-08, version 2.15.1*

The app LOCKS all Glucose reading entered via Bluetooth so they can not be deleted while manual entries can be deleted. Not being able to unlock & delete Bluetooth entered readings limits the usability of the app. Customer Service said for some users there is a legal requirement fir thus being locked - ????. That requirement could easily be handled in a SETTING function. It also doesn’t make sense for BT readings to be locked verse manual entries not - legal function requirement not valid then??? Also BT is not always 100% reliable on connecting, potentially requiring manual entry. Recommend giving the user the ability to delete any entry - BT entered or manual.

### 2/5 — Needs a little work?

*2020-08-23, version 2.13.2*

Seems like it would be pretty simple to unlock a scorecard so I can delete it? Now my wifes couple tests seem to be stuck forever in my app? Just like the person who left a comment here a year ago. I might as well just start keeping records in my notepad again?

### 4/5 — Good functionality, but would like more robust options

*2020-08-05, version 2.13.2*

I was recently diagnosed with prediabetes and got a glucose meter to monitor my blood glucose levels. This is the app that's compatible with my meter, so it's the one I'm using. Honestly, I like it just fine, with a couple minor quibbles.

1. It sometimes has difficulty syncing with the meter. I've found that if I force close all my other apps and then start this one again, it will usually work.

2. I would like the ability to set a target level for fasting readings, specifically. Since a diagnosis of prediabetes (and tipping over into type 2) relies heavily on fasting blood glucose levels, I'd like an easier way to see whether or not I've been in the normal range for it. Currently I can set a hypo, hyper, and general range, but since the range for post-meal is quite different from the range for fasting, it doesn't show me whether my fasting readings are what I want them to be.

### 4/5 — Landscape support for iPad

*2020-06-16, version 2.13.2*

With the emphasis on keyboards and cases from Apple lately, developers need to support even rudimentary landscape support for their apps. No one wants to crane their neck sideways to review their diabetes info.

### 4/5 — Great!!!!

*2020-04-17, version 2.13.2*

I have been Type2 for 17 years and my diabetes has been out of control for the past year (maybe two). I am a VERY visual person and being able to see my glucose trends has been a huge help. I’m trying to get approved for the Dexcom G6 and I need to track/show records of testing as well as insulin dosing. This app has helped with that. Thank you!!!!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Doesn’t Support Health App

*2022-11-13, version 2.16.1*

doesn’t work with apple heathkit

### 1/5 — Need Ability to Delete Bluetooth Entries

*2021-12-09, version 2.16.1*

This is an acceptable tool in managing your diabetes. However the ability to delete Bluetooth entry especially when there is a miss read or error would make it that much better. It is my data that I put in there and share with my doctor so the fact that I cannot control the data outside of manual entry is a serious design flaw. If the product didn’t have issues due to human error I can see why it wouldn’t have that feature. But we are human and we make mistakes. Let us correct them. Let us control our data. Unlock the Bluetooth.

### 1/5 — Disappointing!

*2021-10-15, version 2.16.0*

No ability to Delete a Bluetooth reading erases the intended ease of operation. Have no choice but to disable so called Bluetooth and do manual entries 100%. Would have been less frustrating if the app manual said so first thing! I’ll be looking for another system now since I have a couple of false readings I can’t get rid of.

### 1/5 — Can’t pair meter

*2021-09-05, version 2.15.1*

Sees the meter when scanning but when the dialog pops up to put in the Bluetooth pairing code, it doesn’t display the keyboard to enter it so there’s no way to type it in. Activating Siri cancels the pairing process too. The code changes each time so copy and paste doesn’t work either. Frustrating…

### 1/5 — Doesn’t synch well

*2021-06-15, version 2.15.1*

In spite of my monitor being connected to Bluetooth and using WiFi the app can never seem to find my monitor to synch my data. This makes the app pointless

### 1/5 — Apple Health

*2021-03-12, version 2.15.1*

What happened to Apple health? Just started not syncing around the time of update and I can’t find it in the app... app is almost useless now

### 1/5 — Bluetooth does not stay connected to my iPhone, and your support is NOT 24/7

*2020-10-22, version 2.14.1*

The Bluetooth does not stay connected to my phone, and my phone is new. Also, leaving a message on a recorder with some maybe calling you back the next day is NOT 24/7 support, as advertised in your materials.

### 1/5 — Worst one yet

*2020-10-09, version 2.14.0*

When I started looking for a new meter I did a lot of research. The AgaMatrix Jazz Wireless 2 had good reviews. And of course there were negative reviews.

I’m looking again, after receiving the meter, I’m noticing that most of what I was/am reading is from AgaMatrix. I then went to the diabetes council their opinions of the top 10 meters. AgaMatrix wasn’t on their list. No problem really, everyone has an option but I started seeing a lot more negatives and most about the accuracy.

So in doing more checking the AbaMatrix is not what I was led to believe.

As for their app, it’s pretty useless. Most of the time I’m getting booted out but it doesn’t do much so no problem there.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t offer the birth year for mommy son

*2020-02-18, version 2.13.2*

My son has hyperinsulism. This is the opposite of diabetes. He was born in 2011 but there is no option on there past 2006.

I am very disappointed.

### 1/5 — Pointless if you can’t delete others data

*2019-11-23, version 2.13.2*

Wife uses occasionally to check her levels and I need a way to remove her readings. It auto syncs and puts a lock on the reading in the app so I can’t delete readings that aren’t mine. Why not be able to delete bad data?

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Very good work

*2026-01-06, version 2.20.0*

Exctly range

### 5/5 — This app has Apple health integration!!!!

*2025-05-27, version 2.18.0*

This app does have Apple health integration, which is wonderful because a lot of other devices I have do not connect to Apple health… this device connect seamlessly through Bluetooth to my iPhone 14 Pro Max… although it would be nice for it to have a dark mode, the app does have a background feature, which I haven’t seen on any other apps, this meter works with the aga matrix Jazz wireless 2 and also the CVS Bluetooth meter, the CVS strips are about $46 for 200 test strips, and because this need to connect to my Apple health, it allows me to have a connection to other apps, such as my sugar app and other apps that I have connected to Apple health. Having that ability allows me to check my A1c amongst other things that this current ag matrix apps doesn’t allow you to do. Please keep up the good work, aga matrix my T2 diabetes is counting on you.

### 5/5 — Very easy to use

*2023-03-11, version 2.16.1*

This app is very easy to use and it does the basics very well. It’s just enough for me to manage my diabetes. It works well and always connects very easy to my iPhone. Strongly recommend for anyone who wants consistent results without issues.

### 5/5 — Easy to use

*2022-11-06, version 2.16.1*

I compared this app with several other glucose monitoring apps, and I’m satisfied with this one.
AgaMatrix is efficient, easy to read, easy to manually add data. And the others bombard you with Advertisements!!!!
No ads on AgaMatrix. My only suggestion is to add CVS to its title so it’s easier to find in the App Store & on my iphone.

### 5/5 — A Great App!

*2022-02-21, version 2.16.1*

I truly enjoying this app. It’s easy to move around in. I can add notes on each day which I like to say what I ate on a bad reading in hopes I won’t repeat that day. Lol

It would be nice to see my A1C after 60 or 90 days if that’s possible to add to this app.
Thanks for such an easy reliable app!

### 5/5 — Really good app

*2021-09-20, version 2.15.1*

This is the best thing I have had to keep track of my glucose levels. The CVS meter syncs up almost immediately; at first I didn’t think it worked because it was so fast.
I can easily change numbers and notes in Settings, and I can share my results either electronically or visually with my doctors.

### 5/5 — Easy to use

*2021-06-27, version 2.15.1*

Very pleased with this app. Easy to use and helpful in tracking. I would recommend two modifications. 1) Add the ability to track minutes of cardio exercise 2) Allow the screen rotation of the app for iPads and other tablets.

### 5/5 — Rick

*2020-12-23, version 2.14.1*

Easy set love it’s compact size. Love the data download so I can watch how I’m doing. Being a first time user this has made my experience better.

### 5/5 — Portable

*2019-05-10, version 2.13.1*

Great app, useful

### 5/5 — Great for first time type2s

*2019-02-07, version 2.13*

It’s terrifying enough to be diagnosed at 55 years old with type two diabetes! Being able to track things that are important to you that you’re just learning about is very important! This app makes everything very easy and is very customizable. In the "add note" space to each entry you can put things like how you’re feeling, your mood, any strange symptoms etc. Other apps can be a little much, this one is just right! Love it! Thank you!
