## What is AGBoard?

AGBoard - PCBEditor turns your iPhone and iPad into a fast, touch-friendly PCB viewer and inspection tool. Open Gerber, Excellon drill, ODB++, AutoCAD DXF, Eagle, netlist and component placement files, then zoom, measure, edit and export — all processed locally on your device.

Whether you are reviewing a fab package before sending it to manufacturing, inspecting an assembly on the shop floor, or checking a colleague's design on the go, AGBoard gives you the layers, measurements and reports you need without a laptop.

OPEN ANY PCB FILE
• Gerber RS-274X and X2 — inner copper layers included (.g1-.g30, .in1-.in8…), layer roles read from X2 attributes
• Gerber job files (.gbrjob): open a whole KiCad export in one tap, every layer correctly identified
• Excellon drill files (.drl, .tap, .nc…)
• ODB++ jobs (including compressed .tgz / .tar / .zip / .gz archives) — panels (step-repeat) expanded, nets included
• IPC-2581 designs (.cvg / .xml): layers, pads, traces and nets in a single file
• AutoCAD ASCII DXF drawings (.dxf): layers, lines, arcs, circles, polylines, blocks, text and common 2D geometry

LAYER CONTROL
• Show, hide, reorder, lock, recolor, duplicate and export layers

MEASUREMENT & ANALYSIS
• Shape-to-shape: center distance, dX / dY, angle, midpoint, clearance and overlap
• Point-to-point: measure between any two points on the board
• Export all measurements as a CSV report
• Board statistics: size, area, hole table per diameter, smallest drill and trace
• Light DRC report (CSV)

NET TRACE & SEARCH
• Trace a net by simply tapping a trace or pad — the whole connected copper lights up across layers, no netlist required
• Nets from IPC-D-356 netlists, ODB++ jobs or IPC-2581 files
• Search any net (GND, VCC…) and highlight every one of its pads

MARKUP & ANNOTATIONS
• Add notes, arrows, rectangles and ellipses straight on the board
• Five marker colors; notes carry editable text
• Annotations stay pinned to the board through zoom and pan, and are saved in the project file — perfect for review and field inspection

EDITING TOOLS
• Move, duplicate, resize and delete shapes; editable corner radius where supported
• Single-tap or marquee (drag) multi-selection, group transforms
• Mirror, rotate, reset and panelize layers

COMPONENT SEARCH
