Occasionally, the main screen seems to freeze up & I can't look at any of my accounts. I really would like to know my available balance. The layout and design of it is terrible and not intuitive at all. Keep getting user blocked call them they told me it was my phone but yet reading all the reviews it seems like everybody’s having this problem. Customer service at this bank is terrible. They need to do a better job at helping people and not just giving them a whatever answer. ### 1/5 — Needs major updating *2024-02-13* This app was never great, but the past couple months it has become almost unusable. After logging in, it takes forever to load. If you want to click on one of your accounts in particular, you might as well take a nap, waiting for information to come up and be able to scroll through transactions. ### 1/5 — Useless *2022-06-06, version 4.54.118* Completely useless, worst banking experience in my life. App is worthless can’t cross pay from another bank. Log in is a fight every time. Call support and they are no help as well. It’s not my phone it’s your app. All settings on the phone & in the app are set correctly, yet every time I open the app I have to manually log in. Also, would be great if I could transfer to any account (i.e. my adult sons) not just my own. ### 1/5 — Latest update took away facial recognition *2018-06-07, version 4.4.1+1708231712.i* Facial recognition no longer works and the bank tells me this is normal. A bank rep even told me her husband has the same issue and was surprised when I told her the facial rec software that “they don’t have” worked fine until the most recent update. Don’t know if they’ll read their reviews but hopefully they’ll figure this out. ### 1/5 — Touch ID *2018-06-02, version 4.4.1+1708231712.i* Recently updated and now Touch ID will not stay activated. Now I have to remember my password each time I use it. A huge step backward. When I called customer service at the bank she said there was nothing she could do to help me, even after giving her the error code. Loved the app when it worked. It had been broken by previous versions and would not stay activated. Each time I turn it on it turns itself off. I have to physically log myself out of the app every time or it will make me clear the app out of my background before I can log back in. It also needs to save my user ID in the login screen. That would be SO much easier. Yes, it shows my balance and does the basics of a mobile app. But it looks thrown together and sloppy. I would love an app that is revamped and more pleasing to use. ### 2/5 — Good to have--not very good *2012-08-23, version 2.7* It's good that AGCU finally has an app, buy it's definitely in it's infant stage. As another user said, it is slow and not user friendly. I would like to see us be able to scan checks in to deposit them, a home screen with a button for each function or area. The app should mirror the website to some degree. It should have the same modes as the site and much of the same functionality. The developers should really look at other banking apps like Chase's, Bank of America's, and USAA's.
