Is there an easier way to refresh iOS contacts other than unchecking/re-checking in settings?

Good news: you don’t need the Settings toggle anymore. With the latest release, contacts are a one-time import rather than a background sync — just open the contact import in the app again and pull in whatever is new or has changed. No unchecking and re-checking required.

Would love a feature to be able to categorize birthdays. Like family and friends. So that way I can be reminded of birthdays but don’t have to scroll through them everytime. Would also like a way to rearrange the birthday trackers

A few weeks ago this app changed all the birthdays by one day. Had to update them all again. Now it just erased the years of all the birthdays. I am going to submit a refund. I don’t know what he is doing to this app, but is destroying it with updates. Do not waste your time.

I’ve been enjoying this app & using to keep all my farm animals bdays logged. once I hit 5, app requests you pay 1.99 for unlimited bdays. so I pay the higher price, expecting that to be the better version. nope. now I am getting super annoying ads. what the heck? why are there ads in the paid version but not the free one? frustrated & contemplating requesting refund. 😩

This app has come in handy many times. I’ve got my wife and kids birthdays down, but sometimes you just forget how old you are. And yes, we are those people who treat our dogs as children. With a shepherd, two frenchies and a bulldog, I’m tapped out on those birthdays and ages. This app excels at that. Highly recommended for those with many birthdays and ages!

• Import instead of sync: contacts come in once and then behave like any other entry — editable, groupable, deletable. New ones you fetch yourself via Settings → Import from Contacts, without duplicates.
• An import adds and corrects, it never takes away: no known birth year, no photo you picked and no group is lost.
• Pass a list on: export everything or a single group as a file and send it. Whoever opens it sees what is new and what they already have.
• Find duplicates and merge them — in one pass.
• On a birthday the app greets you with congratulations, by first name.
• Reminders: iOS allows 64 scheduled notifications. The lead time per group and muted groups let you choose which 64 those are.
• "Restore earlier version" now says what it is: the app's local backups. For moving to a new device there are iCloud sync and the export.
• Faster start — the address book is no longer read on every launch.
• If a translation is missing you now see the English text instead of an identifier.
