Zone way around this is that you can’t hit people less than 2 levels below you. Even if this game is set in the 18 Century. This game made sense at first but once I fought against some “ Vikings “ even though they’re supposed to be pirates my flag was the UN Flag the heck? The UN wasn’t established until the 20th Century after WWII! So this game is fun but the graphics are realistic and cartoony at the same time. So get this game unless you don’t like incorrect timelines. And this game is half pay to play and half play to pay Stop being so greedy and posting things that are 100 USD. You can legit just get it sunk and you can’t get it back. I saw a cannon for $90 ;-; Don’t spend anyone’s at all. This game isn’t even worth it. If you think I’m a bot or troller just play the game then go to the store ( Yes my post is similar to someone else’s but this is not spam ) legit just look. Something said discounted or whatever and it was 45 USD or close to 50 What? Anyway just read this and take my advice ( EDIT: though, I still enjoy this game though I have written a list of complaints so, I just think this game is okay I guess. However I will say that some things are pretty steep when prices are in question. Lots of people play and enjoy this for many reasons I just want more cheaper ways to play and this game will most certainly succeed. Impluto S28 ### 2/5 — Fun game - poor responses - chats terrible *2020-03-31, version 1.0.50* Poor quality - game lags A LOT- causing loss of ships and waste of my money. I can’t read reports timely. After several complaints complete with screen shots to back up each issue I am told to be patient. I think six months and longer is patient enough. So I determined to continue play while being patient to not spend money. However, this will cost me strength to grow quickly. I feel I am a drop in the bucket but I must take a stand to get results. I will eventually quit playing if no results in a reasonable timeframe. I have already decreased money and game play time. ### 4/5 — Good game with some problems *2020-03-27, version 1.0.50* It is a really fun game. I do genuinely enjoy playing it. The problem is that if you want to be one of the best players in a server you have to pay money. The game would be so much better if there were non-paying servers where players could compete without having to spend actual money to win, but they probably won’t do that because they would lose money. **Developer response:** Hi, commander. Example: level 20 Hits level 8. Now there’s no way for level 8 to defend itself other then living under a shield 24/7. Or multiple attacks within secs. Jumpers come in hit you again and again till you’re 0 and then jump out to do it again to another player. Since both happen frequently new players or low players quit within days because it’s a play to “win” game. Oh yes that’s by design so game gets on average about $10 per player before level 6 making millions of $ per day. But this game could be 1000 times better then it is and still make $ for game and keep more players in game and happy. I have heard ever excuse under the sun to why players or teams seem to think that abusing other players is ok. I am sure lvl 30 attack lvl 25 and there’s no way to defend troops or resources too. But I gotta think that some safe guards from abuse would be a good thing for most people who want to play. Also remove dead accts or players if they haven’t logged in for past 30 days. Then you won’t need so many zones or player areas. How about putting top 10 teams players all in 1 zone for all other zones so they can’t abuse new or undeveloped players. There’s all sorts of ways game could be better. But again highly doubt it will ever be. Thanks. ### 3/5 — Prepare to spend *2019-11-19, version 1.0.40* There is really no legit legitimate way to get ahead unless you are prepared to open your wallet. If you want a six star flagship, which is needed to be competitive with big spenders, prepare to spend upwards to a thousand USD just for 1 ship. It gets 4 stars still because some lower level ships can be won by opening chess with gold if you get extremely lucky but even then you usually wind up having to open all chess to get the main prize. Most likely rigged and each chess you open then doubles and quadruples in price. Devs play the game which i do not like because they get infinite spending and drive up server prices by setting a high standard fir other players to follow. Some are developers *2019-10-10, version 1.0.37* The developers of the game are some of the biggest alliances in the game. They attack players and plunder resources in an attempt to get people to spend actual money to recover. Watch out for the USN one especially. Game itself very laggy due to poor server. It’s a game you’ll never win either so keep that in mind. Build an empire at the end of the day you have nothing but a time waster. Be realistic. That’s all I use it for. Wasting time. Update: the response is hilarious. Next time I get attacked by one of you I’ll let you know so you can investigate yourselves and laugh about it then continue to do the same again. Definitely need 4 more admiral spots in the alliance rankings. I also Think captains should have rights to buy from upper level in alliance shop. Repairs after any battle is a little pricey in the resource department. The new update is cool but took away a lot of nice functions from before and kinda made it more complicated in some ways and stale in others. Being able to move the ships around and really look at them was a cool feature. Also there is no zoom in or out feature when in either world map or city. Not my device or Wi-Fi issue, I have tried closing the app, uninstalling the app, restarting my phone, toggling Wi-Fi, checking updates, assuming a potential server update (been stuck for over 24 hrs, typical server update is 1-2 hrs) and updating my iOS. At this point I’m assuming the game has a major bug that’s causing it to freeze on loading. ### 1/5 — Rip off *2022-01-06, version 1.0.92* Do not, I repeat do not download. I played for 2 yrs only to get locked out for no reason. They do this over and over. They have no support either. What a waste of time and money. Never again will I get suckered by these people. Trust me save yourself a huge headache. Leave this game and this developer alone. ### 1/5 — Horrible support and way overpriced. *2021-04-22, version 1.0.78* This game is terrible Technical support and zero regards for its patrons. In order to compete at ANY level (even minor tasks)you will spend big bucks. They have multiple glitches where you may not be able to log in and lose all you have invested, and will be expected to start over with zero recompense. Big waste of time and money, cheap boats will cost you but if you want a good boat you are talking hundreds of dollars that you will lose completely at THEIR first glitch. At which point it will be YOUR fault. You can spend your money. Try build up and have it taken away by big players. No protection in any alliance. They sit back watch you get destroyed ..I like the game. But not worth spending a fortune on. Or be on line 24 hours a day !!!! You will never get a direct answer. They dont care about your problems. Something goes wrong youll never get reimbursed and youll never get a reason. This is a free game but join an alliance or youll be spending money double quick to catch up. Advice? Find another game before you invest. ### 1/5 — Unfortunate buyer beware *2020-05-13, version 1.0.55* They offer packs that are very costly and gives you a slim chance to win. I was fortunate enough to win this slim chance but the next day they take my winning of inner city materials plus all my inner city materials totaling 102 million and zero’d all 5 of my materials. The pack I won had 100 million and they took 102 million and gave me 10K in return... do not spend your money ### 1/5 — Bad business *2020-04-04, version 1.0.52* The game is fun and I enjoy the play but the events and spending money is incredibly shady. You can spend $100 to get an item but they rig the system so you end up paying hundreds more. Example the best ship in game came up in a chest event. Spend gold ( in game Curran was you slowly get or can buy) to open chest. I spent all gold I had accumulated plus spent $200 more on gold. And they slowly raise the amount then bam the amount skyrockets. I couldn’t even get the ship as I can’t afford to spend $200( projected cost could be more) to open last 2 chest. To everyone attempting to play this game unless you are willing to pay several hundreds of dollars you will not get anywhere. They only offer prizes for top dollar purchases and allow those who pay cash to take triumph over all ships and people. Literally all the game requires is cash not strategy to win. Good luck and please, please never waste your money. I would trust some of these positive fake reviews. If you don’t want to trust my review then download and see. And try reading the privacy statement in addition to that. The developers say on many reviews that you can get stronger without money this is false and a blatant lie. The others that spend money will keep attacking you and without money YOU CANNOT GROW. And $100 USD for a decent ship is rediculous. Their “Recharge” (payment) requirement for items is way disproportionate. And I agree with many that there seems to be developers online playing or someone willing to spend literally (no-joke) $1000s in USD per day on ships and corps and leveling up. Develops tell other on here to improve your power, well to do that you have to spend money because those that do just attack and attack. These “wartimes” that are set or a mere suggestion and if you spend money you can attack anyone anytime and never let someone grow. I mean level 22 versus level 8 people. It is hard to grow. Says free to play with in app purchases, should also say if you plan to be farmed by players that spend $20 or more a month. If you don’t spend money to get the best ships. Spend money to get the best units on the ship. Spend money to upgrade the ships. Spend money to upgrade the units on the ship. Spend money to boost building construction and research, then you are just a farm for others to gain resources and experience. Unless you spend money to buy shields to hide behind. Free - be farmed Pay $ - be farmed by high level players Pay $$ - to be a nuisance Pay $$$ - to be competitive Pay $$$$ - to have any hope of winning ### 1/5 — Another bad clone of Game of War *2019-03-18, version 1.0.06* The only thing that is amazing about this game is 110 fake 5 star reviews. The game is basically Game of War with ships. Somehow they managed to make the game even more tedious than Game of War plus an added bonus of game mechanics that makes progression comfusing and not fun.
