Now whenever i open the story mode, the game gets stuck playing the sound effect for filling up the challenge bar. It would be nice if this bug would be fixed. ### 4/5 — Final episode super bugged *2021-07-24, version 4.0.1* I would get a decent amount of progress on the final level, then BOOM full crash. Resets level progress and intel challenges, like I never started it. Btw I was on full assist mode bc it kept crashing midway, so I tried to see if that fixed it. The graphics, now don’t get me wrong I love the graphical style of this game but there are graphic settings and whenever I switch to medium or high it is a lag fest. Now since my device can’t run that good with those settings I sincerely ask you optimize it so that it my device can run on high (or at least medium) without lagging. From its classic styled agent music, amazing graphics and levels, and intense combat you feel like James Bond. Every level is different and makes you want to play more and more. In addition everyday you get daily challengers and races. Which is very good for me plus I love this game it is very awesome and It has very. Gorgeous top quality graphics. And the gameplay is very solid and good. Congratulations to these developers who made this game. ### 4/5 — Fun Spy Style! *2021-01-08, version 2.1* I love the art style and tone of this game. The location the levels take place in is right up my alley since I love the Mediterranean! I am not a driving game fan, but this game doesn’t feel like one. The sceptre has a lot of personality, acrobatic/handling ability, and 007-like flair. My only critique at the moment is towards the narrative presentation. I want to be able to understand what is going on story-wise in each level, but since there are no voice actors I have to read the captions when characters are taking which is hard to do because the game doesn’t pause when they talk and I miss information very often. I would love if there was some voice actors added or at least more mid-game cutscenes where I can read dialogue without being distracted from playing when I need to focus on my surroundings. One of my fav Apple Arcade games I have played! ### 5/5 — Great Game... but some technical issues. *2020-12-27, version 2.1* I absolutely love the game and played it all of the time on my iPhone 7 but I just upgraded to the iPhone 12 Mini and there is a really noticeable glitch. I did not have this problem with my previous phone so it must only be for this one. Before I get to that I think the game is supper cool and I play this game all of the time. This game is definitely in my top 3 for Apple Arcade games. It has a super fun story mode and just over all story trying to beat some different bad guy teams. Now it is time to move on the the glitch. The only glitch I have noticed is the black at the top and bottom of the screens during cut scenes does not fill the whole screen. You can see parts around those black boxes. It is not something that interferes with gameplay but is still very noticeable. This game is great and this is why I gave it the 4/5 stars I did. ### 5/5 — AMAZING GAME!!! *2020-11-18, version 2.0* This game has convinced me that it is the best game on arcade, which it is. The action, the fast movement, the threats, the weapons, ITS ALL AMAZING! I would recommend this game to whoever likes action games. I just finished the first mission in chapter 2, and it was probably the PEAK of this whole game. Can’t wait to play more! ### 5/5 — Interesting game and Simply Fun *2020-11-17, version 2.0* It’s a basic driving shooter game, but with a twist of secret agent attitude from the 60s. I love the design style based on 50s and 60s travel posters from that era. I wish more games had more design implementation like this one does. It’s somewhat repetitive but it also has some twists and turns that you’re not expecting. ### 5/5 — Great graphics, challenging and intuitive gameplay *2020-11-11, version 2.0* camera angle a bit tricky, but notching you can’t get used to. I’d like to see some way to use other weapons in the story missions earlier in the game so it won’t feel repetitive. ### 5/5 — a hokey hoot! *2020-11-07, version 2.0* Cheezed to the max, but a bundle of fun, excellent soundtrack and illustrations, kinetic and engaging gameplay and simple but stylish visuals, now getting some depth with story mode and replayability with objectives. I don’t have a controller, so even on an iPad several of the objectives are impossible but thankfully I still was able to complete enough to unlock Chapter 2. I’m really looking forward to future chapters! ### 5/5 — Sadly poorly designed game *2020-10-18, version 1.11* The game has a lot of potential to be a great casual game. However the poor placement of controls and the absolutely weird camera angle is a huge disappointment. They are trying to not make it like spy hunter. But why?make it just like that. That was a great game concept. ### 5/5 — My go to game on arcade *2020-09-10, version 1.9* First off, great job. I love everything about the game. I’ve finished the first chapter of story mode and am pretty consistent at getting in the top 10 of the global leader board. I play almost everyday when I get a free 30 minutes. It’s just right when it comes to time commitment. Some suggestions are explaining exactly how scoring is determined, as it seems somewhat random at times. Also, after playing daily mode I like to play the challenges and think it would be cool to include leaderboards in these as well. Lastly, including some type of achievement based upgrades of weapons, car, enemies would be a welcomed addition. Overall, 👍👍 up ### 5/5 — Apple Arcade is a blast *2020-07-15, version 1.8* A free month (which is all I’ll likely use) and all the games seem to be these sort of independent quality games where there’s genuinely something for everyone. This one goes from speeding car that transforms into a boat and that was level one. Who knows, at 4.99 a month maybe I’ll even hold onto it (Apple Arcade). ### 4/5 — Fun but has a peak *2020-06-28, version 1.8* Not sure if Chapter 2 just hasn’t been built yet (odd since chapter 3 is also visible) or if you have to meet every goal under each mission to unlock it, either way not being able to move on slows the game down. It’s even more of a bummer if you have to reach every goal in order to move on to the next Chapter; especially since the tutorial is extremely limited (I guess the assist controls are supposed to make up for it). But it’s hard to beat every goal, for example it seems impossible to “stop Torpere on the dock” or drift for 5k meters on mission 3 of chapter 1. There’s also no guidance or tips to get past this. So it’s been fun up until this point, but I’m over it now. I’ll probably redownload this game once it’s more fully fleshed out. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Where’s the game *2019-10-02, version 1.0* I like the way the game looks and its kinda fun but the one level a day thing is supper odd and I feel like not a good choice. Stuff like this isn’t gonna make me stay subscribed to arcade it’s gonna have the opposite effect. So played today’s level and lasted me maybe 5 mins now I get to wait 24 hours or I could just play the same stage on harder difficulties. What fun. Is this a tale tale game meant to be episodic? I’m honestly curious as to who thought making a game like this was a good idea and fun. Now when I open the game I’m getting all my achievements again. This game is a mess. ### 2/5 — Fun stylish game sunk by poor control surfaces *2021-05-26, version 3.0.2* Enjoyed the spy setting and story development, but was surprised at the poor implementation of the left-right vehicle control. Many games that implement on-screen surface controls do a positional reset when the player’s finger is lifted from the screen. Of course, the reason for this is because a player focusing on the game often allows their finger to “Drift” off the center of the screen controls. The difference between positional calibration and fixed is simple. In the former, moving right is caused by the player sliding their finger right from where they PLACED it. The latter is the character sliding a fixed-position bar rightward on the screen. Research has shown that positional calibration and reset is superior to fixed presentation. A good example in this game is if a player’s slight movement over time has caused them to move slightly from the horizontal control line on the screen. When they do have to turn quickly, the control feels unresponsive because they aren’t centered. Even worse, if this lack of response is met with even more drastic input, they may even move off the control slider entirely! This isn’t natural movement in perception or control. And it makes what should be simple challenges such as target practice nearly impossible without constant glances at the control side of the screen. We look forward to hearing from you. ### 2/5 — Fun but disappointing *2019-12-02, version 1.2* I really like the game mechanics in play. Each level is a real blast to play. Unfortunately, there's only one level released per day and there is no way to go back and play through past missions. That means that unless you want to play through the same mission over and over, you get 3-5 minutes of play per day. If you miss a few days, you miss out on those missions - you still have only one mission you can play for only a few minutes. To me, this is an enormous design flaw and I’m honestly stunned that a game with so little game play is so highly rated. It’s a real shame. Thanks. ### 2/5 — Great gameplay, but the scores........???? *2019-10-19, version 1.0* This is a fun game that makes me think of my favorite, spyhunter. When will we get oil slicks? Really fun. Now the bad, the score system. How are people getting literally millions of points? I complete the missions, ram cars, pick up the items and get a few hundred thousand. Something is definitely amiss. Since the scores are critical to the ranking, I can only give it three stars until someone can explain this. Updated to TWO stars. Where is the content? Three missions? Really? Don’t release a game with features “coming soon” if all that means is “before the World ends.” Deleting this game one week from today if no improvements. ### 3/5 — Would be fun if you could play for more than 20 seconds… *2021-12-12, version 5.0* What is with the constant cutscenes, interruptions, annoying dialog and non-game clutter? It’s as if Pik-Pok has no faith in the actual game itself and wants to dress it up. Can we just PLAY, UNINTERRUPTED? Is there a level where no one is yelling at me and gameplay doesn’t stop for yet another movie and I can just play, for like 5 minutes straight? That would be sweet. ### 3/5 — New Age Mobile Spy Hunter? *2020-10-04, version 1.11* So far I’m having a bunch of fun with the game. Totally worth it from Apple Arcade. Basic gameplay, but the driving is actually quite fun! Being able to manually brake would be great. I know mobile games are usually meant to be simple, take Marion Run for instance automatically moving forward eh, but a bit more control would be nice. The dev team could even add a toggle option for auto drive vs gas/brake. ### 3/5 — Fun but flawed *2020-03-30, version 1.5* I want to give five stars but I can’t. The controls are pretty good except the steering sometimes doesn’t work right if your thumb is not in the exact spot. The missions are fun but I don’t like that I can’t carry more than one pick up item at a time. Also, NONE of my progress was saved in the challenges. I beat a few of the target practices and unlocked the time trials which were way more fun. Now it’s reset to the beginning and I would have to start over. Sorry, not doing it. Because of that flaw alone, I will probably delete the game. ### 3/5 — A lot of fun, but it could use some tweaks *2019-12-02, version 1.2* This game is a lot of fun, and I love the graphical style and music. However, being limited to one level a day is a major ding. We get one tutorial and then we get thrown into the deep end? A few more warmup missions would be nice, and/or at least one or two other missions each day if you don't like or are tired of the main one. (I've seen the developer responses about the game being designed to play briefly and then come back to later, but a quick look at the reviews seems to indicate a lot of us don't agree with that philosophy.) An option to skip intros/cutscenes would be *very* welcome, especially if we're going to have to repeat the one mission per day we're allowed. Health pickups would be cool, if they aren't already in there so mewhere. One thing I'm not sure of: If you pass an enemy vehicle, can it hurt you anymore? If so, some sort of rear defense/weaponry (mines, oil slicks, etc.) would be cool, since you can't really get back behind them. Lastly, I'm hoping in the future there will be car upgrades available, or at least different styles. Looking forward to seeing where this one goes! **Developer response:** Hi. Thank you ### 3/5 — Fun but limited *2019-11-02, version 1.1* Love playing the game but it feels very incomplete. Some questions for the developers: - why isn’t there an option to at least replay the other missions on demand? You released a new mission, I played it once, and now there is no way to play it again because an older mission is not the only one active. - the games are listed as threat level low. Is there some way to change the threat level so that the limited number of missions can at least be harder? Could be a fun addictive game but the serious lack of content and inability to revisit old missions is a big disappointment. The good thing is that is can be fixed. ### 3/5 — One Level- per day?! Crazy! *2019-10-10, version 1.0* This could easily be a 5 star game. Excellent graphics, smart game play and it works really well with a controller. BUT, only one short level per day?! If the level was longer than a few minutes- maybe that would be ok. But, you play it- it's over and then have to wait? I know you can replay the levels..but, really who's going to do that more than once or twice. IT IS THE BEST! I like how I feel like James Bond. But what I’d really love is a new villain and transformation. Like say in another very black cited prison besides Tartarus there was an even worse villain. And because of this HQ, Agent Black, Torpere make a new transformation for the Scepter so that he or she is defeated and brought to justice. Also in the game I never saw Eris the main antagonist get arrested at the end of the game. Why? Why wasn’t she? And the new transformation is mech suit that climb mountains but not animal like. I mean a human like suit and during it maybe on of the main characters gets hurt bad or something terrible to get people to play it more. But still it is one of the most awesome games I’ve ever played in my life. Agent Intercept is a lot more fun. I’m not a completionist by any means but I was for this game. The controls are good, the graphics look great, and the game is really fun. Fast paced and highly kinetic with rewarding gameplay as you improve. Oh also the music in this game is outstanding. I like the concept of a vehicle that can fluctuate between a boat, car, and plane. I highly recommend this game for people who are in to action, violence, and destruction. First, my progress reset after leaving the game. This never happened before, but I was on chapter two and after I logged off, all my progress reset and I’m all the way at the beginning.
