## What is Ago?

When did you last change the air filter? Water the succulents? Call your mom? Ago answers one question: how long has it been? Tap once to reset. That's it.

THE GAP BETWEEN A TO-DO LIST AND A CALENDAR
Not a streak tracker. Not a to-do list. Ago lives in the gap between both - for things with a rough cadence you want to honor, not a fixed schedule. Car tires. The dentist. The friend you keep meaning to call. Plants that need water every couple of weeks or so.

NO GUILT TRIPS. JUST THE NUMBER.
Ago shows you how long it's been and gets out of the way. No judgment. No chain to break. No notifications nagging you. Open it when you want to know. The "three months?!" moment is the whole product. You see the number, you decide what to do about it.

ALWAYS ONE GLANCE AWAY
- Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets show the live elapsed time, counting up in real time
- Log something done right from the widget, without opening the app
- A soft deadline turns a card overdue when it's been too long - a quiet cue, never an alarm

BUILT TO BE EXACT, NOT FUZZY
- See the precise time since you last did it, down to the day
- Open any item for a monthly calendar of its history
- Give each thing an icon and a color so the list reads at a glance

WHAT PEOPLE TRACK WITH AGO
- Home maintenance: air filter, furnace, gutters
- Plant care and watering
- Car service and tires
- Medication and supplements
- Friends and family: how long since you called?
- Pet grooming and vet visits

SIMPLE AND PRIVATE
No accounts. No ads. Nothing to sign in to, nothing to manage. Your data syncs privately across your devices with iCloud, and stays yours.

PAY ONCE. KEEP FOREVER.
One-time purchase unlocks everything. No subscription. Ever.

Pick a color, choose an icon, set a soft deadline, and Ago tells you when something's been a while. No alarm, no nag. Just a card that says it's time.

## Key features

- Time interval logging
- Task reset with one tap
- No streaks or pressure
- Simple and private interface

- Soft deadline indicators

### 5/5 — Honestly love this app

*2026-08-08*

It’s been so nice to use to track my hobbies and make sure I’m dedicating enough of my time to the things I claim I like during the week. It does the standard “deep clean kitchen” and “skincare reminder” stuff too. I like it, keeps me accountable to things I want to be better at.

**Developer response:** Love this, Mads! Exactly what Ago's built for - keeping you honest about the stuff you actually care about. Thanks for writing this!

### 5/5 — It’s great

*2026-08-04*

Great.

**Developer response:** Thanks!

### 5/5 — Great simple reminder app

*2026-07-31*

This is the perfect app for setting reminders and keeping track of recurring tasks. It’s simple and has all the features it needs.

**Developer response:** Thanks, Jeff! Glad Ago's doing its job for reminders and recurring tasks without getting in the way.

### 5/5 — Great app for managing recurring tasks

*2026-07-15*

I put all my regular and occasional chores in Google Calendar and while it works well for me, I am often moving them around if I don't get to them. I came across this app on Reddit and decided to try it. (I had come across a similar app earlier, but it was subscription based -- which I try and avoid -- and the cost of a lifetime license was not worth it to me.)

So far, this app is working out well and I am using it daily. Initially, I had run into a small issue with the UI, and the developer was prompt in responding to me. (I would like to see a some enhancements and will suggest them to the developer.) In summary, a very good app for its price!

**Developer response:** Thanks for the detailed review, really appreciate it. Glad the pay-once model won you over, and glad support got you sorted quick. Keep the suggestions coming, always looking to improve.

### 5/5 — Nice clean design

*2026-07-15*

Very nice interface and easy to use! Nice to open and remember precious moments

**Developer response:** Thanks! Glad it's making it easy to hold onto those moments.

### 5/5 — Simple yet effective

*2026-07-10*

A very nice and clean piece of app that helps you remember and keep track of important/recurring stuff that you need to do! Recommended!

**Developer response:** Thank you! Glad it's helping with the recurring stuff without adding clutter.

### 5/5 — The app you didn’t know you needed

*2026-07-09*

I’m a real data and stats nerd so seeing every day things in a new format is really fun. I’ve only seen apps that tell you how long you have until a task is due. This switches it up so your brain is sort of lured in by a mini dopamine rush every time you reset the time on a task. How long has it been since I sorted through my books and donated ones I no longer feel attached to? How many days since I deep cleaned the carpet? Doing a task and getting to reset the days to 0 is so rewarding. Instead of the dread of counting the days until you have to do something over and over, you get the satisfaction each time when you see the days go back to zero. A simple but motivating way to rethink the mundane responsibilities we all have.

**Developer response:** This might be my favorite review yet. You nailed exactly what I was going for - the "reset to zero" feeling over the dread of a countdown. Thanks for putting it into words so well.

### 5/5 — Essential App

*2026-07-09*

This is one of those apps that lives on my first page. Tracking the last time I did something (haircut, called parents, changed air filters, etc.) is so much better through Ago than using Reminders or Notes. With the addition of the Home Screen widget, this is a straight up must buy!

**Developer response:** Thanks for the review. Really glad Ago's earning a spot on your first page - that's exactly the kind of everyday-use we built it for. Glad the widget's landed well too.

### 5/5 — good

*2026-07-09*

An incredibly useful time-tracking tool. The new version adds home screen widgets and a full-year calendar view. With thoughtful refinements, a clean interface, and simple logic, you no longer need to manually calculate intervals for tracking various events. Highly recommended!

**Developer response:** Thank you. Really glad the calendar and widget are pulling their weight for you — that's exactly what we hoped they'd do.

### 5/5 — Отличное приложение

*2026-07-09*

Можно задать разные параметры и следить за своими достижениями

**Developer response:** Спасибо за отзыв! Рады, что Ago помогает отслеживать ваш прогресс.
