## What is Agora Social Network?

Agora is a social network built for real communities.  Friends, groups, and the wider fediverse, all in one feed.
FEED, YOUR WAY
Your main feed is chronological by default.  Always your call, never an algorithm's. Want a feed that learns what you love instead? Build a custom feed with Smart Ranking, or use the Feed Builder to include or exclude specific accounts entirely.
FRIENDS, GROUPS & PAGES
Connect with friends, join groups, and follow Pages for the bands, businesses, and creators you care about — their posts show up right in your feed. Tag a group anywhere with +group-name.
CONNECT BEYOND AGORA
Every Agora account is also a real Bluesky account.  No bridge, no separate signup. Follow any Bluesky account natively, see who follows you back, and fold them into Friend Lists alongside your Agora friends.
Agora also speaks ActivityPub, so your public posts are discoverable and followable from Mastodon and other fediverse apps, with replies flowing both ways. Quote posts, custom emoji, and read-only poll rendering keep the fediverse side feeling native, not bolted on.

SHARE MORE

PRIVACY & CONTROL
Block anyone, opt individual posts or your whole account out of the Fediverse/Bluesky bridge, and adjust text size app-wide for easier reading.
FOR INSTANCE ADMINS
Run your own Agora instance? Manage it from your phone — an overview dashboard, federation peers and relays, page and media moderation, and blocked users, domains, and Bluesky DIDs, all built into the app.

Since our last release, Agora has grown a lot:

• Native Bluesky accounts, every Agora account is now also a real Bluesky account. Follow, get followed, get notified of new posts, and see post/follower/following counts, all without a bridge.
• Unified Connections: Friends, Fediverse follows, and Bluesky follows now live together on one screen, and Friend Lists can mix accounts from any network.
• Quote posts: Mastodon and other fediverse apps can now quote your Agora posts, not just boost them.
• Custom emoji: Mastodon custom emoji now render as real inline images instead of :shortcode: text.
• Unified search: search across Agora, the Fediverse, and Bluesky in one place.
• Trigger warnings on shares: add your own content warning when sharing someone else's post.
• Feed Builder filters: include or exclude specific accounts when building a custom feed.
• New Explore feed for guests, and a dedicated Friend Lists feed view.
• Bigger, more readable text throughout the app.
• New admin tools: instance overview, federation peers, relay management, page/media moderation, and blocked users, domains, and Bluesky DIDs.
• Stability fixes: resolved several crashes, including on posts with missing usernames and empty group feeds.

Fediverse (ActivityPub)
Your public posts are now discoverable and followable from Mastodon and other fediverse apps, with replies flowing both ways. On by default for public posts, off by default for private ones -- toggle it anytime in Settings > Privacy.

Pages
Follow bands, businesses, and creators -- their posts now show up right in your feed.

Video Posts
Share videos up to 2 minutes long directly in your posts.

Your main feed stays chronological by default. Want a feed that learns what you love? Build a custom feed with Smart Ranking -- it's opt-in, never forced.

Up to 10 Photos
Attach up to 10 photos in a single post.

Group Tagging
Use +group-name in posts and comments to tag a group directly.

Quick Comments
Comment on any post right from your feed -- no extra taps needed.

Also in this release: a poll voters view so you can see who voted, repost confirmations, clickable links in posts, auto-expanding compose and comment boxes, and a batch of bug fixes including corrected DM reactions and dark theme improvements on Group pages.
