## What is Agpeya?

Pray the seven canonical hours of the Coptic Orthodox Church from a quiet, beautifully typeset prayer book made for daily use.

Every office is included in full — from the First Hour (Prime) to the Twelfth Hour (Compline), the Midnight Office with its three watches, and the Prayer of the Veiled — together with the Absolution of the Priests and a rich collection of occasional prayers.

THE SEVEN HOURS
• First Hour — greet the day in thanksgiving and remember the Resurrection
• Third Hour — remember the descent of the Holy Spirit
• Sixth Hour — remember the Crucifixion of our Lord
• Ninth Hour — remember His redemptive death and the confession of the thief
• Eleventh Hour — give thanks at the close of the day
• Twelfth Hour — examine the heart before sleep
• The Midnight Office — keep watch through its three watches, with the Prayer of the Veiled for further meditation

OCCASIONAL PRAYERS
Prayers before and after Holy Communion, prayers of repentance and confession, prayers for mealtimes, and prayers for the morning and evening hours.

MADE FOR PRAYER
• Clean, readable typesetting with adjustable text size and reading themes
• Light and dark appearance
• Optional daily reminders for each hour, scheduled entirely on your device
• A short note on each hour explaining what it commemorates
• Works completely offline — no account and no sign-up
• No ads, no analytics, no tracking; nothing ever leaves your device

The texts follow the Horologion published by Virgin Mary and Saint Merkorious (Abu Sefein) Coptic Orthodox Church (Rhodes, NSW), with psalms adapted from the New King James Version.
