Period. This app never works as expected. Not once. Forget TV support. Apple TV is a joke. Even on mobile, where it should at least be stable, it constantly fails. You open the app, it hangs. You close it. Open again. Repeat this multiple times just to watch one thing. Sometimes it doesn’t even show the Play button. That’s not a bug, that’s absurd. A streaming app where you can’t play content. Very funny, honestly. I’m not sure how the app expects users to watch anything at all. The usual response is always the same: reinstall, update, contact support, wait for fixes. I’ve done all of that. Multiple times. Nothing changes. The problems are clearly deeper than “use the latest version.” If basic functionality like opening the app, recognizing subscriptions, and showing a play button doesn’t work reliably, updates and scripted support replies don’t help. The core experience is broken. This is easily one of the worst app experiences I’ve had. For several days, I tried to renew my subscription from my own account. You kept showing attractive offer plans, but every time I tried to pay, I got the error: “Current plan is not required for your account.” Fine, I thought maybe the offer wasn’t applicable, so I tried paying the regular price. Even that failed with a generic “We’re sorry” error. If my account isn’t eligible, don’t show me those offers in the first place. And if there’s an issue with my account, provide a proper explanation instead of vague error messages. What is even more frustrating is that I had to use my husband’s number to subscribe, and it worked instantly on the first attempt. So clearly, the problem was with your system, not my payment or device. This was a frustrating and confusing experience. I did my undergrad in Tamil Nadu and wanted to show our classic Films like Aditya 369, Anji, Aa Naluguru, Aithe, Leader and many many more( to my Tamil and Malayalam friends) I request you to please acquire these type of films with the best quality and please provide subtitles for them. When I suggest these films to my friends, they quickly raise the issue of subtitles. It feels sad not to be able to show off that we have done great films all this time. Please look into this An Ardent Telugu cinema lover I provided these names only as examples. Since the day 1 of purchase, the app doesn’t open on tv. It doesn’t go beyond the black aha screen. I emailed support several times. The only response they ah e was try reinstalling. I told it didn’t work.. and they didn’t have the courtesy to respond even after several follow ups. I’ve asked atleast to refund and close my annual Subscription.. still no response. It always asks to link device for every time I login the app and this experience is very frustrating. The chat option is fully controlled by a bot so it's hard to convey my issues through help channel.
