## What is Ahmaris?

Ahmaris is a Christ-centered matchmaking and dating guidance platform for singles who want to approach relationships with greater intention, wisdom, and purpose.

Ahmaris means "Promised by God." The name reflects our belief that love, marriage, and every season of preparation can be placed in God's hands. We do not promise a particular person - we provide a purposeful way to meet, date, and discern with faith at the center.

There is no feed and nothing to swipe through. You are introduced to one person at a time, and an introduction only happens after you have each reviewed a private match summary and independently agreed to connect.

With the app you can:

- Complete your profile and Relationship Readiness Questionnaire at your own pace, saving as you go
- Tell us privately where you are on your faith journey, and how much shared faith matters to you
- Submit your photos for review
- Follow exactly where you are in the process, from application to interview to your first introduction
- Receive introductions with the reasoning behind each one, and accept or respectfully decline
- Talk privately with the person you were introduced to

Ahmaris welcomes singles at different stages of their faith journey. You do not need to have everything figured out - but you should be genuinely open to learning and practicing Christ-centered dating and relationship principles.

Safety: members may voluntarily complete identity and background screening through an independent screening provider, and approved members receive an Ahmaris Verified badge showing the month and year of screening. Verification is one layer of safety, not a guarantee. Please keep following safe-dating practices: meet in public, arrange your own transportation, and tell someone where you will be. You can report or block anyone you have been introduced to, and every report is read and acted on within 24 hours.

Members must be 18 or older. Membership is a real-world service and is arranged with us outside the app.

Questions? We are at hello@ahmaris.com.
