I remember playing this many moons ago on OS 9. Thank you for this! Sometimes the random generator algorithm seems not so random, but after 250 hours, perhaps I have seen it all. The only bug is during the card swapping phase at the beginning. If, at any point during the swapping phase, you exit from the game (because you accidentally hit a notification from another app), the game is frozen and you must start a new game. Very unfortunate if you are on a winning streak. Otherwise, great game! ### 4/5 — Good Nostalgic Card Game *2021-01-26* Great as a reminder how to play the game. I find the voices and sound effects to be fun. It’s nice to have setting options and preferences since many people play the game differently. The only change I would make is having the players “change seats” as in the real game. Also, I’d play much more and recommend the game to others if there was a multi-player option (private or public room). It’s the multi-player option that has me playing Exploding Kittens much more than this one. ### 4/5 — Great *2016-08-12* The only reason it gets 4 stars is the voices. I love it but the sounds effects are really stupid and it's not very interesting to look at eyes on a black background. (If it was possible) ### 4/5 — Love the app! *2012-10-27, version 1.5* Been playing this app on iPhone 5 ios 6 and am hooked! The app is great! I only went with 4 stars though because its been a long while since there has been any sort of update. I would really like to see an update in the very near future! I think this app has lots of potential, lots!!! Some rule making after 3rd presidency would be very cool! Also a basic update could allow skips. One thing that annoys me is when someone plays a 2 it goes around the table again? Kinda annoying since there's no way to beat a 2. Seems like a waste of time. I've always played that after a 2 is played it clears the board and you play again. Essentially this is what this app does but it goes around again? Not the end of the world but slightly annoying. I do love the statistics and hope to never see this removed in future updates as I'm a stats kinda guy. I'm basically giving this app 5 stars in the write up but 4 officially. The developer really should update this app and soon! The app has an amazing foundation to be built upon! Probably the best ahole app out. Period. Online play would be sweet too! There's just so much that can and should be done with this app. I would urge people if interested to buy this app and help support a fun and entertaining game! ### 3/5 — Fun game but needs better programming *2012-09-26* Cool app, funny, but I feel like the programmers of the game haven't spent a lot of time playing it in rl. ie: to me it's pretty obvious that if there is only 2 players left with 2 cards each, you should put your highest card first, not lowest. Or if you are about to finish and you have a joker and any other card, you'll put the joker first, not the other way around... The game would be more fun and challenging if it was programmed better cause right now (unless I have the worst cards) its very hard to loose. ### 3/5 — Update required *2012-08-03* A.I. needs improvement. If you clear it w/ a "two" you get to go again. 2. (allow to play the same card) If you play the same card as the last person it should skip the next person. 3. If you can complete all four same cards and it clears and you get to go again. If a comp plays a 9 and I have a 9 I should be able to play that 9 to skip the player to my left. ### 2/5 — Meh *2013-07-29* Its an okay app. Really annoying that you have to tap card at the bottom and then "play" at the top.. Not very fun. Rules are weird to what I'm used to playing, not enough options to tweak rules. Gameplay is way too fast. You need to card count in this game and it doesn't allow you to see cards that have been played. Not really worth the dollar but thanks for trying. ### 2/5 — Issues *2012-05-19, version 1.5* if player one plays a 3 and you play a 4 and players 3 + 4 pass, the game clears and you can place whatever card you want.Furthermore, you cannot play a consecutive cards so their are no skips. ### 2/5 — Lovecardgames *2012-02-11, version 1.5* This is a fun and addictive game. Please try to fix this ### 3/5 — Needs to improve the code *2014-08-31, version 1.6.1* I love this game - and probably spent the most time playing it than any one out there - programming needs to make game bit smarter - the basic flaw with game is this - let's say there are only two players remaining - me and the computer player - let's say I have only one card Jack and the computer player has two cards - a Queen and a 3 . And let's say its computer turn to lead - instead of playing first the queen first and then three thus making me loose the game - it will play 3 first to which I can throw down my Jack and beat the computer - let each computer player also remember how many cards have been played and "pass" when necessary instead of always blindly playing the lowest card - that is not how you run the game - because of this basic flaw even at hardest setting I win more than 70% of the time - I am sure developer can see my stats via Game Center Update - August 31 2014 Pls pls pls fix the - lowest card playing at any given instance by the computer players - for the reason I listed above. Have computer players count the cards pass when necessary - Make it bit smarter Secondly the game locks up occasionally specially if you try to switch the app like taking a call during the play and resuming. It seems that most of the issues people are saying have to do with the rules of the game, not the app itself. There are so many variations of the game it would be impossible to include them all.
