For me, a complete waste of time. ### 1/5 — Fails to Generate Any Images *2024-06-29* I tried to create multiple images with AI Art Generator, but every single one failed to generate an image. At first, I at least got errors, although they were useless (basically, the app cannot read its own text prompt, which is the entire point). Then, it just did nothing. Finally, the "Create Image" button disappeared. Also, this app prompts new users to rate it five stars before they can access the screen to try it. I'm guessing the high rating (4.2 as of writing) is falsely inflated. 1 star is generous. ### 1/5 — NOT Free to use *2024-05-24* It states, "The app is free to use" yet it is not. Generated three images, none of which actually followed the prompt given then won't allow anything other then to subscribe to a Premium subscription. When I attempt to create images, half the time it gives me a black image, pure nothing. Also, when downloading images that are created, it doesn't show where the images are sent to. There is no download folder. You can't delete the images that are created successfully, and there are no options to change any of these issues. Primary issue is the facial features are very poor more than half the time, but also that the instructions are rarely followed as written. You can't or it is cleverly hidden from view. From prompts, I only got a black screen. This app doesn't seem to live up to its promises. ### 2/5 — Few Key Commands *2023-09-13, version 1.4* It really is frustrating when a native app like this leaves out key commands. You have to use mouse clicks all the time and it really slows things down. I see no way to download an image to my desktop and everytime I click download I get the error The operation couldn’t be completed. (com.apple.photos.error error 41015.) Command S and let me save it. Also the create button does not allow you to click in all the white space that it has so it doesn't always work even when you click. I do like the prompts they can make some nice art. You do still end up at this point in time (09/13/2023) with humans with multiple fingers or fingers on fingers that look really strange. Not sure why texts doesn't come across on any AI. ### 4/5 — Art is a little race biased. Do not get this app I can’t believe how many not functioning AI apps there are on this storefront ,Apple just let them exist and take people to. The only reason it has any stars is cause I can’t give it zero.. the website for “Support” doesn’t work either. How is there not even a tab for settings anywhere? That’s your first red flag. ### 1/5 — So bad its useless *2026-02-18* In a very short time I’ve assessed that this app is beyond poor. It has produced nothing I have prompted and so it’s useless and I suspect it’s just to get you to pay with no chance of a refund. I’lll be downloading something better and deleting this but DONT lose your money with this app. ### 1/5 — Worst app ever *2025-08-01* The AI Art Generator did not live up to expectations. Not only could it not respond to my own prompt, when it did create an image it was absolutely childish, hardly worthy of AI created images I have created with other apps in the past. I gave up requested refund *2025-07-01* This is without a doubt the worse developed application I’ve ever downloaded, purchased or free from the APP store. I’ve been trying to use it and it simply has no redeeming value. Too many flaws. No help. I can’t get to work consistently. Click Create. Get message Not Started. Then message that tells me image can’t be created and I’m using their prompt. Many of their prompts are longer than the 200 character limit. After 10 minutes use, requested refund. I’ve been using GAI in photoshop for more than a year, since Adobe introduced and I guess I measure everything with generative AI in photoshop and firefly. Measured against G AI in photoshop, is lacking. And also we had to pay for it and it was literally 20 bucks just for one day. It is definitely not worth getting. When it makes the images, you DO NOT have an option to delete the old ones. You can save them in diffrent files but not delete them. Once you have made enough, I believe you may have to delete the whole app so you can have space in it. I don't know yet. Plus it only lets you use 200 characters, not nearly enough space to write down everything you need.
