However, after paying $29 a month and getting 1200 credits, I attempted to make a video that cost 60 credits, ran into an error and lost the 60 credits anyway. I then proceeded to make two more videos for 60 credits of pop and those were successful. I then look at my remaining balance and I have 503 credit credits remaining. I’m missing 500+ credits in addition to the 60 that were due to a fault of the app. There’s absolutely no way to contact anyone via the app or desktop or any other means. So in my situation I’m just screwed basically and there’s no one there to fix it. I will not be renewing with them now or anytime in the future. Canceling is also a headache as you have to be on a desktop; you’re not able to cancel through the app or through the mobile site. I recommend that everyone steer clear. Just a few days ago, some of my videos were costing around 18–24 credits to generate. Then similar videos started costing me 128 credits, and my most recent video used 227 credits. That is an enormous increase, especially when my monthly plan only includes a limited number of credits. At this rate, the credits disappear after only a few videos, which makes the subscription almost useless for anyone who creates content regularly. I shouldn’t have to keep buying additional credits on top of an already paid subscription just to continue using the app. The quality can be good, but the new pricing and credit system has completely changed the value of HeyGen. I really hope the company listens to its customers and either brings back a more affordable unlimited option or makes credit usage reasonable again. Until this changes, I cannot recommend HeyGen to creators who need to make multiple videos each week. ### 1/5 — Frechheit *2026-08-25* Dafür, dass ich 79 € bezahle im Monat und mit in Vorschau eine Stimme generiert habe, die danach überhaupt nicht mehr identisch mit der generierte Stimme war und das dreimal hintereinander. Das ist eine Frechheit!!! Der Text wurde miserabel gesprochen. Worte wurde nicht. Und die Stimme war überhaupt nicht identisch mit meinen alten Videos, obwohl ich immer die gleiche Stimme benutze!! eine bodenlose Frechheit. Eine Unterstützung kriegt man auch nicht. Uma coisa ou outra. Quando a voz fica boa, os gestos não, do contrário o mesmo. E com isso vão consumindo os seus créditos até zerar. Uma forma que te obrigam a comprar novos créditos. Ou seja, uma fraude que só faz sugar o teu dinheiro, além de ser um app extremamente caro. ### 1/5 — Avatar 3 nicht verfügbar *2026-08-21* Warum kann man Avatar 3 in der App nicht auswählen? Stattdessen bin ich gezwungen, ein anderes Avatar-Modell zu verwenden und dafür zusätzlich zu bezahlen, obwohl ich bereits einen kostenpflichtigen Account habe und gerne mit Avatar 3 arbeiten würde. In der App wird diese Option jedoch überhaupt nicht angeboten.
