## What is AI Calorie Camera?

Calorie tracking, without the diary.

Most nutrition apps make you search a database, weigh your food, and log every item by hand. This app replaces all of that with a single photo. Point your camera at a meal — a homemade bowl, a restaurant plate, a coffee-shop pastry — and the app reads it in seconds. Calories, protein, carbs, and fat, filled in for you.

Each meal is a piece. Each day is a puzzle. By dinner, you've built a picture of how you ate — without ever opening a logbook.

How it works

1. Snap a photo of your meal, or pick one from your camera roll.
2. The AI identifies the dishes, estimates portions, and calculates nutrition in about three seconds.
3. Adjust anything that looks off, save it to your day, and watch your macros come together in real time.

What's inside

• Instant AI recognition — powered by Google Gemini, tuned for global cuisines (Western, East Asian, Mediterranean, and more)
• Manual entry and food search — for anything you'd rather type, or when the camera isn't handy
• Macro tracking — calories, protein, carbs, and fat, with daily targets you can edit
• Weight tracking — log your weight and follow the trend over time
• Weekly reports — patterns across your week, not guilt about a single meal
• Puzzle progress view — your day fills in visually as you log
• Coming from MyFitnessPal? Import your weight history in seconds, so you don't start over
• Quiet by default — no streak shaming, no red numbers, no notifications you didn't ask for

Pro

Start with 10 free AI scans — enough to log about three full days. After that, Pro unlocks unlimited AI recognition. Manual logging always stays free, so nothing you've already tracked gets locked away.

Pro is $7.99 per month or $34.99 per year — less than half of MyFitnessPal Premium at $79.99 a year. The annual plan starts with a 7-day free trial, then renews automatically at $34.99/year unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the trial ends. Cancel anytime in Settings.

Privacy, by design

Your meal photos are sent to our AI provider for recognition and are not retained after analysis. We don't sell your data, we don't share it with advertisers, and we don't track you across other apps.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.0.6 — 2026-09-05

Nothing new on your screen this time.

This one is upkeep underneath — the app is back in step with the platform it's built on, so everything you already use keeps working exactly as it does today.

### 1.0.5 — 2026-08-20

Calorie Puzzle is now AI Calorie Camera. Same app, same history — the name under your icon is what changed.

Choosing a photo from your library now works even if you once declined photo access.

The link you share with a friend now opens the app's App Store page. The ones you sent earlier landed on a legal and support page — worth sending again.

### 1.0.4 — 2026-08-03

Portion size is now the first thing you can fix — it's the biggest factor in how accurate a photo estimate can be, so it's no longer buried below the nutrition fields.

Save is always within reach: the main action now stays pinned to the bottom instead of hiding at the end of a long form.

Calorie ranges are honest about what a photo can tell you.

### 1.0.3 — 2026-08-01

A clearer name for what this app actually does: point your camera at a plate, get calories and macros.

New free plan: 10 AI scans to get started, shown right on the logging screen so you always know where you stand. Manual logging stays free and unlimited — nothing you've already tracked gets locked away.

Support is now one tap away in Profile, and prices show in your local currency.

### 1.0.2 — 2026-08-01

Support is now one tap away — Profile → Contact Support, with your device details already filled in.

Prices now appear in your local currency, and the free trial is only offered when your account can actually use it.

Outside the US, metric units are the default. Plus a handful of fixes to keep the photo results clean.
