I understand that when we pay for a subscription we get credits to use towards increasing the context length, and you generally get boost anyways but i feel like there should be more benefits! I pay for mythic and get a lot of credits but no matter what… the ai models always eat up story memory like no other and when you want to build a stronger world, you can’t because the context length will inevitably fill up faster because of the amount of story cards fighting each other for the output. I just wish i had more benefits other than credit usage. Yeah, i do buy more credits when i run out, but i feel like for the amount im paying for, i am getting what i payed for… right? ### 5/5 — Good *2026-08-21, version 1.4.25* Good ### 4/5 — So much better *2026-08-21, version 1.4.25* This app started out fantastic. As soon as they introduced their upgraded AI systems, the original app took a dive, horribly. I canceled my subscription and stopped playing for a long time. However, after hoping back on recently, I’ve noticed it’s gotten much better. The AI goes along with every ridiculous story you tell it. I love it again and if it stays as good as I’ve seen it, I may have to upgrade to a subscription again. All of them can be fixed if you restart the app. That can be annoying to many, but I haven’t ran into any bugs that make it unplayable. I love it, I want more of it. Freedom to customize whatever story you want to build, and an outrageously large collection of prewritten/provided stories for you to jump into. ONE ISSUE: The game has been stalling a lot as of recently (specifically starting around early May 2025 with loading issues). I’m sure the devs will figure it out soon, maybe more servers needed? Regardless, I plan on subscribing for more features when I have more disposable income. There were too issues with memory retention. My ally transformed into a snake for stealth and was being described as walking around as a human in the next two lines. And I went back to the stater town and none of the names I was given for people or locations were the same. I had to be the one to try to correct the AI memory in game but it was too far gone. I’ve always wanted a game where I could just do absolutely anything I wanted, and then I found out about ai dungeon. I’ve been using ai dungeon since probably 2021-2022 ish. They’ve made great improvements to the game! I always have a good time!
