## What is AI Foto Fun?

What does your photo say to a computer? AI Foto Fun shows you, and then explains why.

Pick a photo or take one, tap Full Scan, and get a colourful report card in seconds. On-device image analysis looks for objects, scenes, faces, people, pets and text, while Apple Intelligence turns those findings into a playful caption and a plain-English story about your picture.

THE FULL SCAN REPORT CARD
• Top labels with confidence bars, so you can see how sure the AI really is
• Faces found, numbered on your photo, with a close-up and a photo-quality score for each
• People, cats and dogs counted, plus any text the app could read
• A witty, family-friendly caption and short description written by Apple Intelligence

"WHY DID IT SAY THAT?"
Tap the explainer to find out how the AI reached its answer. A saliency heatmap glows over the parts of your photo that drew the most attention, and a short explanation describes the shapes, colours, textures and context behind the top labels.

FOR FUN: MODELS ARE BIASED
Every report ends with a light-hearted reminder that image models learn from the photos they were trained on, so they can be confidently wrong. AI Foto Fun is a friendly way to build real AI literacy: test it on your pets, your lunch, your holiday snaps or an optical illusion, and see where it shines and where it stumbles.

SHARE CARDS
Turn any scan into a polished share card with the photo, the caption and the top labels, ready for Messages, social media or the family group chat.

HISTORY
Every scan is saved on your device so you can revisit old reports, compare results and clear them whenever you like.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• Photos are analysed on your device
• The language model receives only the labels and counts, never your photo
• Those labels may be processed on Apple's Private Cloud Compute, which keeps no data
• No accounts, no ads, no tracking, and no data collected
• History stays on your device

BEAUTIFULLY MODERN
Built entirely in SwiftUI with Liquid Glass, smooth animations, haptics, dark mode and Dynamic Type. Full VoiceOver support announces the result when a scan finishes. Designed for iPhone and iPad.

No Apple Intelligence? No problem. On devices without it, AI Foto Fun writes its own simpler captions, and every image analysis feature still works.

Requires iOS 26 or later. AI captions need a device with Apple Intelligence turned on.
