I just started and I have to pay, this is so dumb

Allia can definitely be used for free — you don’t have to pay when you first start. The subscription is only for those who want unlimited messages, voice calls, advanced AI features, and a deeper experience.

But it’s completely optional. You can continue using the free version as much as you like, at your own pace.
