## What is AI German Chat?

Your Goethe-Zertifikat vocabulary lists are memorized, yet the first sentence still will not come out loud. This app is for people who can read a German exam question but cannot yet speak one.

The one you talk to is not a person but a cat, Nyao. A test score and a real conversation are different things — hesitate, restart, take your time. No one minds, and no one is grading you.

- You are starting German from the beginning and would like to say one line out loud today
- Speaking in front of people is uncomfortable, and there is nowhere safe to practice
- A trip, a call with a client, or a new colleague is coming
- You want the app itself in your own language, not only in German

- What you can do
- Say one line, and Nyao answers in German in short, simple sentences, then asks one small question back
- The meaning beside it: under Nyao's reply, the sense is shown in the language you set for the app
- 14 everyday scenes are ready: a cafe, shopping, a station, a hotel, small talk at work, and more. Each scene is a short script you can walk through line by line
- Gentle correction: nothing is marked wrong. When a sentence could sound more natural, you are told quietly, with the better wording beside it
- When nothing comes to mind, tap one of the short replies offered
- The app itself is available in English, German, French, Spanish, Korean, Chinese, Portuguese and Japanese

- Nothing leaves your phone
- The reply is composed inside the iPhone itself with Apple Intelligence. What you write is not sent to a server, and no account is asked for
- Because it all happens on the device, it also works with no connection

- What it costs
- No sign-up and no sign-in
- Five conversations a day are free
- A monthly or a yearly subscription keeps the conversation open, and it starts with seven days free to try
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless it is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the period, and you can manage it in your account settings
- If a subscription ends, the free conversations each day remain, and none of your records are deleted

- Requirements
- iPhone 15 Pro or later with Apple Intelligence turned on. On other devices the conversation feature is not offered
