UPDATE: I tried the restore feature again. It still doesn’t work. If an app is free and has no subscription when it is downloaded, it should stay that way for the user. Not cool. One more star removed for the disingenuous response. 

Very cool idea, I had planned on using this for capturing my dreams, as they are often hilarious.  When I downloaded this very recently, there was no subscription. Now there is. ‘Restore’ did nothing to fix the problem. Please add a restore feature that works for those of us who downloaded this prior to a subscription feature, and also add a lifetime option for everybody else.

**Developer response:** I’m sorry for the confusing launch experience. When Antena first went live, subscriptions were not visible yet because I had an App Store setup issue, so some early users like you were able to try the app before the paid plan was fully active. That was not meant to feel misleading.

Antena gives the first experience free, but ongoing use is paid because the AI and image generation costs real money to run, and I’m building this whole thing as a solo developer. That said, I understand why this felt bad from your side

You were the very first person to try Antena and I don’t want your first experience with it to feel like this. I’d gave your account 1 month free trial so you can properly use it for dream journaling and decide afterward whether it’s worth continuing.

**Developer response:** Thank you for the kind words, and I’m sorry the subscription rollout got in the way right as you were trying Antena for dreams. We had an entitlement/Restore issue during the launch transition, and it has now been fixed in the latest version. Please update the app and try Restore again. Really appreciate you giving Antena a chance.
