It would be helpful if we could add longer descriptions for some items as the character limit currently restricts this. The app seems to have a wide reach. I do get a lot of requests from buyers to make payment outside the app so it would be helpful to make this process and the options clearer. I’m really enjoying the app so far and have been able to sell some items really quickly. Paperclip could help sellers by sharing selling tips and ways to make the most of the app. ### 1/5 — stupid app *2022-04-05, version 4.1.8* Do not download this app it’s very dangerous lots of scammers it’s a waste of time honestly your best bet is apps like shpock or vinted this is tomfoolery… ### 1/5 — Useless selling app *2022-02-17, version 4.1.8* It gives u 1 week to dispatch product and after you dispatch from 3rd day it starts sending msg to buyer about receiving product and buyers lodge complaint that they have not received the product, delivery takes time, once buyer has lodged complaint they return payment back to buyer, irrespective of the fact they received product after few days… the seller is in loss… I had loss selling in this site ### 1/5 — Not working *2021-10-01, version 4.1.4* Horrible platform. However I had one bad experience that I had sold an item to someone and I had not got the money it has been a week now and the money had not been able to be withdrawn. I had contacted the company and I am waiting for a response currently. It is a good app they have now updated a few things I still use the app today. I am new to Paperclip too so give me a follow:Wavybaby_ I sell womenswear, accessories for affordable prices also boys-wear too. ### 1/5 — Downloaded app last night, going to delete it today *2021-06-23, version 4.1.1* So cumbersome to use on desktop and iOS. Tried to complete a test listing 5 times and it’s not letting me finish the listing. And why do you require so much personal information, on top of bank details, a payment card and a scan of someone’s passport just to sell items?? I don’t think I’ve ever been asked to provide this amount of detail by any other selling platform. Sorry, in an age of online hackers and scams this isn’t acceptable. Sad, as I thought that this app sounded promising at first. I was wrong. ### 2/5 — Too much information needed *2021-04-18, version 4.0.4* I downloaded this to sell but immediately changed my mind when I saw how much information you have to give them just to add your bank account. Why do we need to include a photo of ID to prove who we are? We’re not going to send it to someone else’s bank account. Seeing as this is an app I’ve only heard about through a friend, I don’t feel comfortable giving my name, date of birth, address, bank details and then a photo of ID with more information just to sell stuff. Also going off other peoples reviews about them spam messaging peoples numbers from other apps I don’t want to give them my information. ### 2/5 — Be careful of scammers *2021-03-16, version 4.0.3* I purchased two items from two different sellers at beginning of January and have still not received either of them. I am now £520.00 out of pocket. Reported both buyers to Paperclip but have still not got my money back and it’s now Mid March. Very disappointing and won’t be using this site again. Buyers be warned. New update on above situation, Paperclip have offered partial payment and are continuing case with Action Fraud on my behalf. I know it’s not their fault and by the way have had no problems with site crashing or difficulties using APP. Do think it’s a good site but only make payment thru PayPal direct to Paperclip to be sure your payment is safe. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — No CS Support No Reply *2025-12-02, version 6.0.1* Been on here since the reboot of app for months now and zero sales, no reply to support seller despite sending messages.
