I work as a HR and it’s perfect for taking notes specially during disciplinary action when you need to write really fast this app is revolutionary in that field , (just need to cross check with data policy of recording in your company). This is now the second time I have LOST all of my recordings. If the recording doesn’t process you have to tell it to reprocess recording. I have several recordings that failed to process over the last few days and now the app crashes when you try to reprocess. Extremely frustrating and disappointing! ### 1/5 — MISLEADING Lifetime Premium offering *2025-01-29* I actually may have considered giving 4 or 5 stars however I do feel deceived by the offer which stated free Lifetime Premium. Used the app day 1 and learned that Lifetime Premium only gives me 30 min per month hence rendering this app useless. If a developer is going to offer a free lifetime premium to gain traction of the app then take off any restrictions. Hope the developer learns how instead of garnering positive reviews, this MISLEADING restriction ends up detracting from the functionality of the app. Consider changing your free offering and I would change my star rating. **Developer response:** Hello. Our app is not an AI chat app or an all purpose AI app. It's purpose is to record meetings (or other similar audio) and produce notes / transcripts from it. It was designed to do this one thing well. The app also only supports English now as it is new. We will be adding other languages over time. ### 1/5 — Lifetime is a scam *2025-01-28* The so-called "lifetime" implies no time or usage limits. However, the developers deliberately use the term "lifetime" without explaining in the promotion that the usage is very limited. We've announced that we're removing the usage caps on the Lifetime plan and have implemented this change in the latest version of the app. ### 1/5 — Absolute Scam and Deception – Worst App Experience Ever! *2025-01-28* This app is the most dishonest, manipulative, and fraudulent app I’ve ever used. Let me explain exactly why it deserves ZERO stars, not even one. 1.Bait-and-Switch Tactics: They promote the app by offering a lifetime version for a one-time fee, making you believe you’ll get full access forever. This is a blatant lie. After you pay, they start limiting features and suddenly force you to upgrade to a Pro subscription if you want to continue using the app as initially advertised. This is the definition of false advertising and cheating customers. 2.Manipulative 5-Star Review Request: Early on, they push you to leave a 5-star review by dangling features behind a paywall or review wall. They condition you to think that if you don’t leave a glowing review, you won’t unlock the features you paid for. This practice is shameless and shows how desperate they are to inflate their app’s ratings dishonestly. 3.Limits on Lifetime Users: After paying for the so-called lifetime version, you are treated as though you’re a free-tier user. They restrict your usage and remove access to the very features they promised in the initial purchase. Then they have the audacity to ask you to upgrade to Pro and pay again for full functionality. How is this even legal? 4.Deceptive Business Practices: This app’s entire business model seems to revolve around baiting users, manipulating reviews, and scamming people into paying more money than they ever intended. The developers clearly do not care about their customers; they only care about inflating their download numbers and stealing your money through lies. Final Thoughts: I’ve never been this frustrated with an app before. It’s a disgrace that this app even exists on the market. If I could give it NEGATIVE stars, I would. The developers are greedy, dishonest, and completely unethical. Please, do not fall for their tricks. Warn others not to download or buy anything from this app. They will take your money, manipulate you into leaving good reviews, and then force you to pay again for something you already paid for. However, they are not actually offering the app, but rather just a tiny taste of its functionality: 30 mins of audio per month. PER MONTH! This is not only a purposefully deceptive bait-and-switch sort of tactic to gain downloads, but the amount of function is downright insulting. Even the trial versions of most apps don't offer such a crippled version. I think the issue you're referring to involves the backup recordings on the Reprocess Screen. Your main recordings on the Files tab should have been unaffected by the problem. Please update the app from the App Store. (Do not uninstall and reinstall as that will clear your backup recordings.) The new version of the app should allow you to access the backup recordings and reprocess any of them. It is my “go to” at the start of meetings regardless of the platform used. I love the generated notes and follow ups that the notes capture. The ability to download / export the audio file and the docx file as well as pdf has been helpful for keeping a history of meetings. The developer actually honored the fre give away and made it so there's no limit. Get over yourself and quit complaining about something you got for free. That being said, I think Scribble is one of the better AI voice note apps out there. I have 7 different tools, all paid and I'd say Scribble is just as good as any. I have used it for 5 or 6 meetings now and find the output very helpful.
