## What is AI Notes?

Voice notes that write themselves — the transcript, a summary, the key points and your to-do list, all worked out on your iPhone with nothing uploaded.

You had the thought in the car, and by the time you were at a keyboard it was gone. AI Notes is for catching it while you are still talking: press record, say it however it comes out, and get back something you can actually use.

What you get back from every recording:
• The full transcript, with the recording still there to play alongside it
• A short summary written for someone who will read it instead of listening
• The points worth keeping, pulled out and listed
• Anything you said you would do, collected into one to-do list across every note

How it works:
• Press record and talk — no setup, no account, no sign-in
• Words appear on screen as you speak, in whatever language you speak
• Tasks from every note gather in one place, and can be sent to your calendar
• A calendar view of what you recorded and when
• Search across everything you have ever said
• Playback at 1×, 1.5× or 2×, with a 15-second jump back
• Light and dark themes, and haptics you can switch off

Nothing leaves your phone. The recording, the transcription and the summary all happen on this device. Nothing is uploaded, there is no account to create, and no one else can read what you said — including us.

Good to know:
• Live text as you speak needs a one-off download of about 460 MB, offered inside the app. Without it, notes are still transcribed — just after you stop rather than while you talk.
• The richest summaries use Apple Intelligence, which needs iOS 26 on a supported iPhone. On other devices the app still writes a summary, key points and tasks, worked out from the transcript itself.

Recording is part of AI Notes PRO, and there is a free trial to begin with. Notes you have already made stay playable, readable and searchable either way.

Payment will be charged to the credit card connected to your iTunes account when you confirm the initial subscription purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period, at the renewal cost shown. You can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renewal in your account settings after purchase. Any unused part of a free trial period, where one is offered, is forfeited when you buy a subscription.

Fixed in this version:
• Playing a note again after it had finished did nothing; now it starts over
• Tasks in Digest were listed back to front within a note
• A day's tasks in Calendar kept rearranging themselves
• Sharing a note you had never named printed the date twice
• A call arriving mid-recording could take the app down with it
