I’m retired yet the AI keeps sending me work attire as inspiration. Blazers and dress pants, when I click on a blazer, I should be able to teach the AI not to send me blazers as inspiration or articles of clothing to purchase. Also, I gave the AI a budget for tops and bottoms yet I still get tons of items over $300 each. Some of the outfits would cost nearly $1000 to put together and buy online. This app should be more interactive. Every piece should have options so that AI learns what types of clothing you’re interested in. I chose mass market items and it was showing me things over $300. It didn’t choose my correct skin colour program is just difficult to use and figure out definitely not happy. ### 1/5 — Waste of time and money *2026-01-21* App promises a cost effective amazon capsule wardrobe, gave me an unrealistic list of $800 shoes and $900 handbags. Shows some suggestions but nothing can engage with. Why would a late 40s professional woman want hot pants for work?!! ### 1/5 — Mrs Cathleen Trimble *2026-01-09, version 1.11* I signed up for a free trial via an Instagram pop-up link, not through Apple. After cancelling, I was still charged £38.95. There is no OnStyle subscription showing in my Apple ID, and the app only allows “Sign in with Apple”, which means I cannot access or cancel the account created via Instagram. Support responses are automated and only give Apple cancellation instructions, which do not apply. There appears to be no working way to manage or cancel a subscription created outside Apple. I changed my profile to down 1 level, but am blocked out. I then canceled, with them saying I could use the planner until Jan 29, when my subscription ends, but when I sign in to try again the only way I can use it is to re-sign. Customer Service is terrible and the customer is DEFINITELY not priority. **Developer response:** Hello! They send the same outfit suggestions to everybody based solely on your age. I spent several minutes to fill out a survey just to get a very, very generalized one-sized fits all pdf about basic wardrobe advice that you can get anywhere free. Then the app wants me to fill out the whole survey again. Nothing else I can do on the app. I’m using the same login and it remembers nothing. So the app does absolutely nothing. Like I literally can’t get past the same survey I already did that got me nowhere. I was hoping it would pick out pieces for me to consider purchasing and things that go well with them in my size. It 100% does not do anything helpful at all. I think I was just scammed for a survey. I canceled the same day. OnStyle kinda changed that for me...it’s super chill and actually useful, like it actually gets me.. i just took pics of my clothes and it started giving me combos i’d never think of but somehow work?? i’ve saved so much $$ not buying random clothes that end up in the back of my closet cuz i don’t wear it. sometimes the app loads slow or repeats outfits, but still, it’s made mornings way easier and i feel confident walking out the door now 🥰 wish i found it sooner ### 5/5 — didn’t expect to like it *2025-08-29* so I tried OnStyle mostly cause my friend wouldn’t stop talking about it and honestly the color thing is kinda fun? it told me my “best colors” are muted greens and beige which is totally not what I usually wear but now I’m curious. I wear black like 90% of the time cause it’s easy and hides coffee stains (I spill a lot lol) but I tried one of the beige tops it suggested and actually got compliments which never happens. even my sister noticed which is wild. I still get some outfits in the app that aren’t really me but I just skip them. it’s nice having something say “hey try this” cause I’d never think of it myself. kind of fun to have something push me a little out of my usual. might even get another green sweater soon. ### 5/5 — Helps me get out the door faster...😅 *2025-08-21* Most mornings at my place are a blur... Three kids to get ready, lunches to pack, work emails already coming in, and somewhere in the middle I have to figure out what I’m wearing... OnStyle has actually made that part easier. I added photos of my work clothes and some weekend outfits, and now I can flip through ideas while I drink my coffee that’s already gone cold.. The color suggestions were interesting, and I’ve tried a few pieces I wouldn’t have picked on my own. I do wish there was a faster way to get a single outfit idea , and it would be nice to have more casual looks for when I go straight from the office to errands with the kids.. Even with that, it’s taken a bit of the mental load off my mornings and made getting dressed feel less like another chore. ### 5/5 — good *2025-08-19* Tried OnStyle out of curiosity, and I’ve got to admit, it’s more useful than I expected. I don’t have a ton of clothes, but the app still pulled together outfits I wouldn’t have thought of. Uploading pics was easy, and I like the weather-based suggestions since I’m the guy who ends up “sweating in a hoodie” way too often. That said, I wish it had more casual, guy-oriented outfit ideas; sometimes the suggestions lean too fancy for my day-to-day. Also, it’d be cool if it could recommend new pieces to buy that actually match what I own. The color analysis part was interesting, but I’m not sure I’ll stick to those shades. Overall, it’s made getting ready less of a brain drain, and I’ll probably keep using. ### 5/5 — Surprisingly useful! *2025-08-18* I’ve been using OnStyle for a few weeks and it’s actually been pretty handy! I took pictures of my clothes, and now I can scroll throuh them on my phone instead of staring at my closet in the morning. The outfit suggestions are usually in line with what I’d actually wear, and it even checks the weather, which has saved me from a few bad choices! The color analysis was a fun extra,I’ve ended up trying a couple of colors I never wore before, and they surprisingly work. Not every suggestion is a hit, but I just ignore those. It’s nice having everything in one place, and it’s definitely made picking outfits quicker on workdays.
