But lately, I cannot rely on the feed to show me all new episodes . I follow a daily podcast, but haven’t seen the new episodes in my feed for the last 3 days. I must go to the podcast to see the new episodes. This means I may be missing from Other pods w less consistent schedules. Now they expect you to pay for premium as you only get 1 free download. This app is going downhill tbh. Would not recommend ### 2/5 — Heating issues *2025-10-26, version 6.2.1* Since the iOS 26 update I’ve been having battery drain and heating issues with something this app is doing. Most recent update didn’t fix it. Not even blaming the makers of just this app as iOS 26 has other issues, but this is still the only one with obvious problems. Generally it has been a great Stitcher replacement but I can’t renew my subscription until it stops draining and overheating. Buyers be wary. ### 2/5 — Awful CarPlay experience *2025-10-18, version 6.2.1* I do the majority of my podcast listening while commuting by car. Using the CarPlay functionality has become next to impossible. The app never seems to record progress, so iCloud sync never seems to work. I can never pick up where I left off in the car and continue on my computer. The CarPlay functionality is nowhere near what it could or should be. I’m disappointed after having spent money on the lifetime option in the hope that this would be the app of choice that I would stick with. Now I’m back to Apple Podcasts because the experience is just too frustrating. I like the playlists and other features, but these are no compensation for poor syncing and CarPlay functionality. As with previous reviewers, I’ll look in occasionally, but I’m not holding my breath. ### 2/5 — Update annoying *2025-09-20, version 6.0.3* They made the text much smaller even with large selected. They also moved controls on the home page for no apparent reason. And worst of all, they reintroduced a bug that inserts an unplayable episode into the queue that stops everything from playing. Please add ### 2/5 — Not bad *2025-06-06, version 5.6.5* I’ve purchased Podurama when it first launched. So I’ve been using the app for a long time. It used to be my go to podcast app, but I find I use it less and less nowadays. Firstly, as features have been added, the app has become more and more complicated. I love the “power user features” but the problem is that the way they’ve been implemented has made the app unintuitive and over complicated. Secondly, they ordinarily advised users that they’d be launching an Apple Watch companion app all the way back in the September they launched! It’s still not happened, despite most of their competitors managing it. So, I will revisit the app time to time, but it’s no longer my podcast app of choice. I can't even import from Apple podcasts. And it just keeps asking me to go premium even though I already said yes to the free trial offer. ### 1/5 — Ridiculous battery usage *2025-11-17, version 6.2.1* Had a short, 90 minute flight. Listened to a podcast the whole time, on airplane mode. It's a longstanding problem (I found similar reviews from 2018) that the haven't corrected. Super annoying. I’d noticed weird audio skips and random ad insertions that cut out the podcast’s content for awhile but initially dismissed it as just a glitch. However, after more than a dozen of these ‘glitches’ in a single podcast episode, I compared it with the same episodes on other apps, and the issue is definitively with this app. Super disappointing. I’ve wasted so much time on this garbage app when I could’ve listened on spotify or wherever else without missing chunks of episodes ### 1/5 — Horrible layout *2025-05-24, version 5.6.5* Seemed promising but the cluttered layout and inability to customise is enough to send anyone with even mild ADHD over the edge. ### 1/5 — Don’t update!! It’s really frustrating that you’d take away a previously-free feature and put it behind a paywall—and not make that abundantly clear to users before updating. I choose my updates manually. I specifically updated this app to support your metrics because I wanted to support you guys even though I don’t have a lot of extra cash. In return, you turned off downloads of more than one podcast per day. You removed a long-standing feature to try and force me to pay you. I budget to be able to pay for food. I can’t afford your pricy premium subscriptions. I also can’t afford to pay for lots of phone data—which is why I would download podcasts in this app when I have wifi, and then have them with me when I’m on cell data. I *had* been recommending your app. I *had* even been saving up for lifetime premium. But this was sneaky and arm-twisting. You have left me with a bad taste and I don’t want to use my asset—of money or word of mouth—to support you. I use iOS on mobile and Linux desktop. The web version syncs with the mobile client perfectly. There are some small ui tweaks need to be done, but the app works great ### 5/5 — The features o was looking for! *2026-04-25, version 6.4.1* Losing Stitcher was a big deal, but finding Podurama has made up for it. They have bookmarks, very good AI summaries of podcasts, good related recommendations, and sleep timer. I scrambled to replace my podcast player. I tried every one like and felt like little red riding hood trying porridge, until I came to Podurama, which was just right! I have a gigantic podcast list, but there are a handful I like to keep at the top and I go through phases of listening a ton and not listening at all. So keeping the newest episodes and my favorites was at the top. Podurama did this! And it let me categorize them into things like my top list, news only or podcasts I listen to before going to sleep.
