## What is AI Tennis Swing Coach?

Fix your forehand. Understand every miss. AI Tennis Swing Coach gives recreational and competitive players tennis-specific AI feedback built around their unique swing, skill level, and goals.

NEW — Practice Reports. Finish any Visual Coach session and get a coach-grade report of your whole practice: every swing scored, your most frequent fault, how you finished vs how you started, pro-benchmark hits, and the one fix that matters most. Saved to History, exportable as a PDF — free and on-device.

Also new — Player Hub. Train yourself, your kids, or your students: pick the active player once in Profile and every tab follows, with lifetime stats, personal bests, and milestones per player.

And — no sign-up needed. Open the app and start coaching immediately. The free Visual Coach never asks for an account.

Our own AI engine: a custom neural network trained frame-by-frame on thousands of real tennis swings — running entirely on your iPhone. Visual Coach detects and tracks your actual racket in every frame, live and in replay, and tells you exactly what went wrong with instant fault callouts like "Late contact" or "Slow swing." No cloud, no lag, no upload — free and unlimited.

Visual Coach features:
• Custom-trained AI racket detection — proprietary Core ML engine, fully on-device; your video never leaves your phone.
• Visual Coach Live — real-time skeleton, live joint angles, racket tracking, and instant spoken cues.
• Visual Coach Replay — AI skeleton and racket marker on every swing, with a per-swing scorecard (elbow, knee, racket speed, timing) vs pro targets.
• Practice Reports — session grade, swing timeline, top fault, and your #1 fix after every session.
• Fault callouts — a clear on-screen reason for every below-par swing ("Late contact", "Off balance") — captured in exported clips too.
• Six premium coach voices — studio-quality spoken cues; mph or km/h.
• Deep AI coaching — a written breakdown: what's working, top priorities with timestamps, and drills to try.
• Slow-motion, frame-by-frame, A–B loop, zoom with auto-follow, and a forehand/backhand swing timeline.
• Export your analyzed clip — skeleton, racket tracking, metrics, callouts, and voice — to a shareable video.

Unlike generic video tools, AI Tennis Swing Coach runs its own custom-trained, tennis-only AI: an on-device Core ML detection engine built for rackets and balls, plus a proprietary evaluation system for swing mechanics, movement, contact positioning, timing, and stroke fundamentals — feedback you can apply immediately on court.

Use it for:
• Forehand, backhand, and serve analysis
• Real-time swing and racket tracking
• Instant fault callouts on weak swings
• Practice session reports and analytics
• Live on-court coaching cues
• Swing video review and visual swing path analysis
• Contact-point feedback and stats vs pro benchmarks
• AI skill level estimates and personalized recommendations
• Progress tracking over time

How it works: coach live with your camera for instant feedback — or record/import a video, trim it, pick forehand, backhand, or serve, get personalized AI coaching, and track progress across sessions. Every analysis gives a clear technical observation, a prioritized improvement area, and a practical drill.

AI coaching feedback is intended for training and educational purposes only and is not a medical, injury, rehabilitation, or certified biomechanics diagnosis. Skill level estimates are app-specific training assessments and are not official UTR, ITF, ATP, WTA, NTRP, or other governing-body ratings.

AI Tennis Swing Coach Pro is available as an auto-renewable monthly or annual subscription. Pricing, subscription terms, renewal information, restore purchases, Privacy Policy, and Terms of Use are available within the app prior to purchase.

### 4/5 — The Best AI Tennis Coach I've Tried

*2026-07-13*

As a tennis coach, I'm usually skeptical of AI instruction, but this app genuinely impressed me. The Visual Coach does an excellent job of identifying the key parts of the swing, whether you're practicing live or analyzing recorded videos. The feedback is detailed, accurate, and explained in language that players can actually understand instead of technical jargon.

The new Practice Reports are especially useful—they make it easy to spot patterns over an entire session instead of judging one swing at a time. I can quickly see whether a player is improving, identify their most common issue, and decide what we should focus on next. The Player Hub is another great addition for tracking multiple students, and I appreciate that players can start using the Visual Coach immediately without creating an account.

What impresses me most is that this app keeps getting better with every update. Each release adds genuinely useful features rather than cosmetic changes, and I'm excited to see what the developer comes up with next. This is one of the few AI tennis apps that truly feels like it was designed with real coaching in mind, not just technology.

It took me a little while to discover everything the app can do. A simpler onboarding experience would help new users get the most out of it.

**Developer response:** Thank you so much for your thoughtful review! 🎾 It means a lot to hear that the app is useful from a coach's perspective. I also appreciate your feedback about onboarding—making it easier for first-time users to discover and understand all the features is definitely something I'm working on for future updates. Thanks again for your support and for helping shape the app!

### 5/5 — Great App!

*2026-07-04*

This app has completely transformed how I train. The Visual Coach Replay feature is super helpful. It's like having a pro coach in my pocket!

**Developer response:** Thank you so much for your kind words! 🎾 I'm really happy to hear that the Visual Coach Replay has made such a positive impact on your training. Knowing it feels like having a coach in your pocket is exactly what I hoped to achieve. More improvements are on the way—thanks for being part of the journey and the AI Tennis Swing Coach Family!

### 5/5 — Incredibly Detailed AI Tennis Coach 👍

*2026-06-20*

I was genuinely impressed by how deep and useful this app’s tennis analysis is. I uploaded a short swing video, trimmed the clip inside the app, and received a very detailed coaching report that felt far beyond a basic automated summary.
The exported PDF analysis was especially impressive. Mine was 16 pages long and included detailed screenshots from my actual video. It was easy to understand what the app was pointing out because the visuals were tied directly to moments in my swing.
What I liked most is that the app did not just give vague advice like “improve your technique.” It showed me specific weak points, explained why they mattered, and gave me a plan and specific excercises for what to work on next. I immediately understood where I was losing consistency and what I should focus on during practice.
This feels like having a tennis coach in your pocket, especially for players who want feedback between lessons or want to track improvement over time.
Very promising and already extremely useful.

**Developer response:** Thank you for the thoughtful review! I'm glad the detailed analysis and PDF report helped make the feedback easier to understand and apply in practice. One of my main goals with A-Tennis AI Coach is to provide actionable guidance tied directly to each player's swing rather than generic tennis advice. I appreciate you taking the time to share your experience, and I'm excited to continue improving the app with even deeper analysis and new coaching features.

### 5/5 — Surprisingly Accurate Feedback

*2026-06-18*

I’ve been playing recreational tennis for years and have tried a bunch of training apps, but this is the first one that actually showed me what I was doing wrong. The AI analysis was surprisingly detailed and pointed out issues with my contact point, shoulder turn, and follow-through that I never noticed before.
What I like the most is that it doesn’t just give a score - it explains the problem and shows exactly what to work on. After making a few adjustments from the feedback, I immediately felt more consistency and power in my forehand and backhand.
The checkpoint videos and visual overlays make it easy to understand, even if you’re not a coach. It’s like having a personal tennis coach available whenever you practice.
Definitely worth trying if you’re serious about improving your technique!
Highly recommended!!!

**Developer response:** Thank you for the great feedback! It's rewarding to hear that the analysis helped identify areas of your swing that weren't obvious before. The goal is to give players clear, practical insights they can use immediately on the court, along with visual feedback that makes improvements easier to understand. I appreciate your support and wish you continued success with your tennis game!

### 5/5 — A+

*2026-06-18*

Honestly didn’t expect much when I first downloaded this, but the PDF it spits out after your session is really something. It’s not just a wall of generic tips — it actually tells you what you’re doing well and what let you down, in plain language you can understand without a coaching degree.

I’ve been sharing mine with my hitting partner and we’ve been using it to structure our practice. Solid app, worth trying.

**Developer response:** Thank you for the review! I'm happy to hear the PDF analysis and personalized feedback have been useful for your practice sessions. Making complex swing analysis easy to understand is a major focus of the app, and it's great to know you're finding value in it. Thanks again for your support and for sharing your experience.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 2.5.0 — 2026-08-25

Two new things, both free.

• Patterns — what your last few sessions have in common. Not one bad swing, but the fault that keeps coming back, a score that has genuinely slipped, and — for once — something you used to do that has stopped. It stays quiet until it has enough sessions to mean it, and it counts a day of tennis as a session, not a file.
• Highlights reel — your best swings, cut into one video you can share. The app picks the highest-scoring ones, slows the moment of contact, and stamps each with its real score. Portrait, ready for anywhere, and it never plays the same swing twice.
• A swing is only named Forehand or Backhand in the reel when that was measured or you chose it yourself. Otherwise it just says SWING — a shared video can't carry a footnote.

### 2.4.0 — 2026-08-24

Your practice now has a plan.

• Training Plan — tell the app how many weeks you have, how many sessions a week, and how long each one is. It builds you a week-by-week plan from the faults it has actually measured in your swing, with drills you tick off as you go. Free, and it works offline.
• It tells you when your game has moved on. If your recent sessions point somewhere different from the plan you're working through, the app says so in plain words and leaves the decision to you. Your plan never rewrites itself underneath you.
• Rebuilding keeps your progress. Drills you have already done come across to the new plan.
• Optional: have your coach write it up — why these things, for you, in their own words. Your plan doesn't change either way.
• Your analyzed clips now feed the plan alongside your Visual Coach sessions.
• Fixed: on iPad, the player switcher could be completely unresponsive.

### 2.3.3 — 2026-08-21

Your practice sessions and your coach finally talk to each other.

• AI Coaching now saves with your Practice Report — keep both together, share them in one PDF, or remove just the coaching and keep your numbers. Before, it appeared once and was gone.
• Ask Coach can now see your Visual Coach practice sessions. Ask why a fault keeps happening and the answer is built on your real swing counts, scores, and fixes — not generic tips.
• Tap "Discuss this" on any insight, fault, or #1 fix to open Ask Coach with that exact finding already in hand.
• Each question shows what it costs before you ask.
• History is quicker to scan: sections show totals and lists load ten at a time.
• Your 3D figure now tells you when a clip was filmed too far away to replay honestly, instead of animating a swing it couldn't really measure.

### 2.3.2 — 2026-08-20

Meet Ask Coach — a new tab where you can ask questions about your own game and get answers grounded in your real practice history:

• Ask anything about your swing, your session scores, or what to work on next — the answers cite your own sessions and stats, never generic tips
• Full conversation history, saved per player and easy to revisit or delete
• "Discuss this" buttons on your Analysis Results and Live Coach findings jump straight into a focused Ask Coach conversation
• Read your questions and the coach's answers aloud, hands-free
• New Home screen shortcuts get you to History, Progress, Ask Coach, and Profile in one tap

### 2.3.1 — 2026-08-20

We rebuilt the Coach Model from the ground up — every stroke, re-verified for real accuracy:

• All 7 strokes re-checked motion by motion — forehand, backhand, serve, volley, slice, overhead, and return — cleaner tracking, true contact points, no shortcuts
• Return finally gets its own real Coach Model — no more placeholder motion
• Full library for both hands — left- and right-handed players get identical coverage, every single stroke
• Smoother side-by-side replays — you and your Coach now move at full speed, not choppy playback
• New: gentle reminders to get you back on court when it's time to practice again
