### 5/5 — Great French Transcription App – Expand Custom Dictionary Limit,  Please Add French Store + Fixes

It’s really solid overall. Tested in French—couple minor errors on tricky medical terms like “toracobrachial” (should be thoracobrachial) and “cuté-prolongé” (should be QT prolongé) from the screenshot, but “hypothyroïdie” spot-on. Can’t read full transcription easily (copy-only), font tiny (Control Center zoom inconsistent), UI cramped. Custom dict helps but 120-char limit too short; regen/recording quirk fixed it once—bizarre!

Hit summary, it reformulated nicely. Dev, please make it available on French App Store, expand dict chars, bigger font/read view! 3 mins short but useful.

**Developer response:** Thank you so much for your positive feedback, especially given the challenging medical terminology and the minimal steps required.

The main feature of this app is summarization rather than transcription, which is why we intentionally kept the transcription UI simpler. That said, since some users do rely on the transcription itself, we’ll improve the font size and display width in the next version.

Unfortunately, the dictionary character limit is constrained by the transcription LLM framework we use, so we can’t expand it at this stage. One workaround: we introduced “summarization rules” in the latest version. for example, by adding medical terms there, they should appear correctly in your summaries.
