## What is 수담?

Sit down at the board, and your teacher is already there. Sudam is a fully offline Go (Baduk) app with KataGo — the world's strongest open-source Go engine — built right into your device. No internet, no sign-up, no server.

1. World-class AI, fully offline
The KataGo engine lives inside the app, analyzing and responding instantly without a network. Every calculation happens on your device — and only on your device.

2. 27 levels, from 18-kyu to 9-dan
Find the opponent that fits you on a finely graded 27-step ladder. Handicap games from 2 to 9 stones, adjustable komi, your choice of Black or White, and scoring under Korean rules.

3. Teaching Games with AlphaGomi
Your AI teacher AlphaGomi compares your move with the best move every single turn, explaining the type of move, why it works, and how the game is likely to unfold — in clear, friendly language.

4. Review — down to "why that spot"
Step through your game move by move and spot the turning points on the win-rate graph. In Explore mode, replay the AI's recommended lines or try your own ideas and judge the position.

5. Go proverbs, right when they apply
In moments like atari, cuts, life & death, or a big group in danger, the Ten Golden Rules and time-honored proverbs appear one line at a time — so the principles sink in naturally.

6. Daily tsumego and Rank Challenges
Fresh puzzles every day reveal your strengths and weaknesses by theme — life & death, atari, cutting, and more. Rank Challenges are played on a Korean byo-yomi clock, one rank at a time, with no analysis and no hints — pure skill.

7. Game Insights (weakness report)
Sudam looks across your games to find the mistakes you repeat out of habit, organizes them by game phase and move type, and links each key scene straight into review.

8. Progress tracking and backup
Rank history, AI match records, and puzzle accuracy on one dashboard. Export to SGF and back up or restore everything as a single file.
