Worked great at first.  Went to go change WIFI network and couldn't connect to anything via bluetooth.  Not sure what to do.  Deleted app and reinstalled and cannot sign in now.

I purchased the egg when it first came out on Kickstarter 10/23/20. It has not worked since. Although there was one build that I was able to load a few buttons that worked but the next build not only wiped out the buttons but it couldn’t even see the egg. This latest build sees the charging dock and the egg but there is no way to add remotes. I have received 14 emails with updates from Kickstarter and it doesn’t work. I am using an iPhone 11 Pro Max running ios15.1. If you want to believe the positive reviews I would like you to pull up AICO user manual and you will find how helpful and informative their 4 page manual and they are. If that doesn’t show you the issue this company has I wish you luck. Thanks

With latest iOS, Bluetooth on and app permissions configured. Bought two Smart Eggs and neither one can be located, even after trying to reset both with the reset button on the bottom.

I have two new Smart Eggs and neither will connect with iPhone 8 with this software it just keeps “searching for smart egg in range “ despite repeated attempts at reinstalling software and resetting the devices. The software has no timeout or ability to stop or restart the scan. It doesn’t get Me to any registration option. Totally disappointing

It didn’t have my model number for LG, so I used the smart match option.  I hit the power button and it somehow put my tv in factory mode.  After some research, it turns out I can’t get it out of factory mode without a factory remote with an “InStop” key.  Now everything on the tv boots up before it works.  I go into setting it says please wait 30 seconds.  I also get random pop ups that say “Factory Mode - please use instop key to exit”.  I have used who knows how many universal remotes and this is the first one to ever actually harm my device. Thanks a lot!

Update:
AICO has been working on the software (both iOS and firmware) and it seems as though they take the reviews seriously! The firmware has been pleasantly updated so that in power save mode the smart egg is recognized after a number of days of being unused. 
In addition they have added the ability to edit the buttons for existing remotes. 
It doesn't seem as though they've added the ability to actually add buttons (maybe I haven't figured it out) and the order of the buttons is still odd, but it's good enough to get a 5 star review (I would do 4 stars, but most people on the App Store have much lower standards so...)

Just got my smart egg & it works great so far (have only added remotes via the preset list, added remotes via programming and creates some scenes). The only issue I have at the moment is with the thermometer as it indicates that the device is much cooler than it actually is, I adjusted the temperature and hopefully this will address the issue. I will be testing out the proximity feature soon. 

My only gripes are (1) being unable to move/change the order of buttons, remotes or scenes. (2) being unable to add buttons to preset remotes. (3) And when creating scenes the time delay is much shorter than indicated (i.e. 1 second is more like a half second). Other than that it works as expected!

I don't know how the product works!  In order to use a remote extender you have to register with your phone number.  Why?  Even worse, you have to be logged in to use the stupid product. One more application more interested in spying on you than being a remote control.  Don't waste your money.
