I have found several of the descriptions for techniques in this application helpful as a quick reference while studying Aikido in between classes at my dojo. It was helpful for my most resent belt evaluation.

HOW CAN I GET THE UPGRADED VERSION -- GREAT APP!! 
One of the best app out there on understanding Aikido and the mechanics of the techniques...the photos are very clear , step by step to assist in understanding what is exactly  happening with Uke  and Nage

Aikido is a very intelligent and specialized martial art requiring detailed knowledge of the physical forces of the body and which directions a joint, arm, and hand can move and not move to control blend and then be in control of the direction of your opponent by using his force against him through using his own strength of momentum against him.. The psychological aspects and philosophical underpinnings of the art are very powerful.
