## What is Aila Scanner?

Aila Scanner is a barcode scanning application featuring the AilaSDK. When used standalone, the app will perform general barcode decoding for a wide range of symbologies that can be independently toggled along. Additionally, we have introduced a multi-scan feature to capture multiple barcodes within a single frame along with the ability to scan MRZ from identity cards such as a passport. 

Aila Scanner is best paired with Aila's Interactive Kiosk product lineup. In addition to barcode scanning, when used within a kiosk, Aila Scanner can be used to capture ID-1 sized cards with the optional ID tray, and display hardware & firmware information.
