AimPool helps you turn one pool-table photo into an editable, review-first shot plan. Start with the free built-in sample table to explore the complete planning workflow. When you use your own photo, AimPool asks you to confirm the table corners and review every detected ball before it recommends a route. PLAN WITH CONTROL • Calibrate the playable table from four corners • Review, move, add, remove, and classify balls • See modeled direct-shot aim lines and ghost-ball contact • Compare direct candidates with approximate power guidance • Read clear blockers, risk warnings, and evidence limitations • Keep photo analysis on device HONEST MODELING AimPool provides modeled guidance, not a guarantee that a shot will be made. Automatic recommendation is currently limited to direct routes. Real-phone detector accuracy has not yet passed held-out validation, so every detection remains editable. English, spin-sensitive banks, multiple rails, combinations, and pocket jaw/shelf interactions remain experimental until their held-out gates pass. AIMPOOL PREMIUM ANNUAL The built-in sample stays free. AimPool Premium Annual unlocks camera and photo-library analysis and unlimited use of your own table photos while subscribed. Eligible new subscribers receive a 3-day free trial. After the trial—or immediately if you are not eligible—the subscription renews annually at the price shown by the App Store until canceled. Shots that send balls into each other — clusters, frozen balls, simultaneous rail contacts, even full-rack breaks — now resolve cleanly instead of stopping early. Predictions are modeled, as always: verify against your table. Find Safety (experimental). No makeable shot? An explicit defensive search simulates legal safety leaves and ranks them by your opponent's easiest modeled reply. Requires a declared 8-ball group; search effort is selectable in Settings. Tips, rebuilt as visual lessons. Short diagrams that show what each concept means — the ghost ball, power bands, thin cuts — and what to do about it. Tap any warning to understand it. Scratch risk, extreme cut, low table evidence: every warning opens a mini lesson right over your shot, with the risk highlighted on the table and one-tap fixes — without losing your analysis. Clearer power guidance. A soft / suggested / firm band with your shot's modeled power marked, plus how to narrow it by recording observations from your own table. ### 0.29 — 2026-08-14 Shots with side spin, draw, or follow now return a recommendation. Previously any off-center strike could clear the shot list entirely. AimPool now shows the cue-stick line that accounts for squirt, so the aim you see is the aim the model actually predicts. Bank and kick modeling no longer requires a level cue. You can model a selected ball and pocket with cue elevation set. Recorded table-condition measurements now stay on your device between sessions, and starting a new table no longer clears them. History: trying the free sample table no longer pushes out your own saved analyses. Clearer shot analysis. The detail screen now states how blocked routes are handled instead of showing checks that could never fail. Smoother ball dragging on the photo view and faster saved-analysis loading. ### 0.22 — 2026-07-24 AimPool 0.22 makes the result screen calmer and the coaching remains experimental and honest.
